Alfonso Leon has resigned from the top finance spot at Apache. Executive vice president P. Anthony Lannie will become interim CFO at the oil-and-gas production and exploration firm.
Fay West has been promoted to finance chief at SunCoke Energy and SunCoke Energy Partners, effective Oct. 27. West, who replaces Mark Newman, had been controller.
Encore Capital Group has selected Jonathan Clark as finance chief of its subsidiary, Midland Credit Management, and expects him to succeed Encore CFO Paul Grinberg in February. Previously, Clark headed finance at Sallie Mae.
Robert Cantwell, executive vice president of finance and CFO at B&G Foods, has been promoted to president and CEO, effective Jan. 1. He will take over from David Wenner, who is retiring at year-end. A search is under way to replace Cantwell, who started at the firm as assistant vice president of finance in 1983.
Industrial firm Harsco has named Peter Minan to the top finance spot, effective Nov. 11. He joins the company from Computer Sciences Corp., where he was vice president, enterprise risk management and internal audit. He is also a former partner at KPMG.
Associated Materials, which makes and distributes outside building products, has chosen Scott Stephens to lead the finance function. Most recently, he was CFO and treasurer at A.M. Castle.
Industrial fluids provider Houghton International has selected Keller Arnold to lead the finance function. Previously, she headed finance at Physiotherapy Associates.
Finance chief and treasurer Eric Meek has been promoted to chief operating officer at truckload-service provider Celadon Group. The CFO job has been divided into two positions: Bobby Peaver, vice president of accounting, will become principal accounting officer, and Leslie Tarble, vice president of finance, will become principal financial officer and treasurer.
Laminate manufacturer Wilsonart International has named Jeffrey Lee to the top finance spot, effective Nov. 10. Most recently, he was CFO at Contech Engineered Solutions.
Stephen Riffee, who leads the finance function at Corporate Office Properties Trust, will leave the firm on March 31 when his contract expires. Anthony Mifsud, currently senior vice president of finance and treasurer, will take over as head of finance on April 1.
