- Lehman Brothers Holdings has named William Fox CFO. Fox replaces David Coles, a managing director at the advisory company Alvarez & Marsal who has been serving as CFO since late September. Fox, who is also a managing director at Alvarez & Marsal, specializes in turnarounds. He has been serving in a financial role at Lehman since its bankruptcy filing in September.
- American Tower Corporation has hired Thomas Bartlett as its CFO, starting April 1. Bartlett replaces Jean Bua, the company’s interim CFO since June 30. Bua will take on the positions of executive vice president of finance and treasurer, reporting to Bartlett. Most recently Bartlett was senior vice president and controller of Verizon Communications. He also served as treasurer and senior vice president of investor relations there.
- Ben Wang has been appointed CFO of the natural gas and liquefied petroleum gas retailer China Prosperous Clean Energy Corporation. Most recently Wang served as CFO at New Oriental Energy & Chemical Corporation. Before that he was an equity research analyst for Brean Murray Carret Co.
- HCP Inc., a real estate investment trust that invests primarily in the healthcare industry, has hired Thomas Herzog as CFO, starting May 1. Most recently Herzog served as CFO of Apartment Investment and Management Company in Denver. He has also been chief accounting officer and global controller of GE Real Estate.
- Andrew Murray is the new CFO at Valen Technologies. Murray, with 25 years experience in technology and finance, was most recently CFO of HomeSphere Inc., which provides technology-leveraged supply chain services to the homebuilding industry.
- Robert Kolodgy has been appointed senior vice president and chief financial officer of the Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association. Kolodgy was most recently senior vice president of operations and finance for ProMedica Insurance Corporation. He also held senior executive roles at hospitals in New York and Ohio.
- Graham Corporation, which designs and manufactures oil refinery equipment, has appointed Jeffrey Glajch as its CFO and vice president of finance and administration. He was in charge of finance for Nukote International, and previously held the same role at Fisher Scientific Canada.
- Premium sports-car maker Sypker Cars has hired Hans Go as its CFO, starting March 15. Go is currently an independent financial advisor for private investors. He has filled interim CFO slots at several investment companies.
- Office and industrial property owner Duke Realty has named Christie Kelly as its CFO. She replaces Matthew Cohoat, who resigned last year after 18 years at the company.
