Peter Hunt has been named to lead the finance function at Virgin America, effective July 11. He will succeed Holly Nelson, who is leaving the company. Previously, Hunt was CFO of Pinnacle Airlines.

Ally Financial Inc. (formerly GMAC Inc.) has appointed James Mackey CFO. Mackey, who has been at the firm since 2009, has been interim CFO since April 2010.

Scientific-instrument provider Bruker Corp. has announced that finance chief Brian Monahan is leaving his post so he can spend more time with his family. He will continue at the firm as vice president of strategic & financial planning. Chief operating officer and former CFO William Knight will become interim CFO until a permanent replacement for Monahan is found.

Pilgrim’s Pride Corp. has named Fabio Sandri to the top finance spot. He takes over from Gary Tucker, who is retiring. Sandri joins the chicken-processing-plant operator from Estacio Participacoes in Brazil, where he also headed finance.

CFO Hai Tran is leaving Catalyst Health Solutions Inc. on July 15, and will be replaced on an interim basis by corporate controller and senior vice president, finance, Deirdre Kramer. Kramer has been at the company since 2005; before that, she was director of finance and accounting at Eckerd Health Services.

Edward Caminos has been named to lead the finance function at CAMAC Energy Inc., effective July 1. Most recently, he was CFO of BPZ Resources Inc.

Robotics company Hansen Medical Inc. has appointed Peter Mariani to head finance, effective June 20. He takes over from Peter Osborne, who has been interim CFO since February 2010. Mariani is a former chief accounting officer and controller at Guidant Corp.

Worldwide Energy & Manufacturing USA Inc. has named Gary Koos CFO and treasurer. He joins the company from Intera Group Inc., where he was chief operating officer and CFO.
