Frank Connor will become CFO of multi-industry firm Textron Inc., effective August 1. Connor comes to the company after 22 years at Goldman, Sachs & Co., where he most recently served as managing director and head of telecom investment banking. He takes over from acting CFO Richard Yates, who will continue on as controller.
Internet provider EarthLink Inc. has promoted Bradley Ferguson to the top finance spot. He has been controller since September 2005. Ferguson replaces Kevin Dotts, who will stay on until mid-September to aid in the transition.
Mark Helvick has been tapped to head finance at prescription-benefits management company RESTAT. Previously, he was CFO at OptumHealth Specialty Benefits.

Dataworks Inc. has named Randall Frapart as CFO, filling a vacancy. He joins the company, a developer of payment-processing solutions, from Plumgood Food LLC, where he was chief operating officer and CFO.
Guy Avidan, CFO of MRV Communications Inc., has been promoted to co-president of the company and president of its network equipment business. He will be succeeded by Chris King, vice president of finance and chief compliance officer.
Security-solutions provider Websense Inc. has named Arthur Locke as its new CFO. He comes to the company from MicroStrategy Inc., where he was executive vice president and CFO.
Jeffrey Woods is the new CFO of payment-services company MoneyGram International. He is a former CFO for global investment banking and chief operating officer for investment banking, Americas, at JPMorgan Chase & Co.
