David Turner has been named CFO of KPMG LLP, effective August 1. He takes over from Larry Laughman, who is retiring. Previously, Turner was an executive vice president at Thomson Reuters.

MetLife Inc. has appointed John Hele to the top finance spot, effective September 4. He is a former CFO and treasurer of Arch Capital Group Ltd.

Occidental Petroleum Corp. has named Cynthia Walker to lead the finance function, effective August 6. She succeeds James Lienert, who will become executive vice
president – business support. Walker had been managing director at Goldman, Sachs & Co.

Testing and engineering services provider National Technical Systems Inc. has named Michael El-Hillow to head finance. Most recently, he was CEO of Evergreen Solar Inc.

Lawrence Bloch has been appointed CFO and chief business officer at Infinity Pharmaceuticals Inc. He is a former CEO of NeurAxon Inc.

John McLaughlin has been named finance chief of SafetyChain Software. He had been CFO of Enwisen Inc.

Enterprise analytics provider Mattersight Corp. has appointed Mark Iserloth to lead the finance function. He replaces Bill Noon, who will become vice president of finance. Previously, Iserloth was CFO of Trustwave Holdings Inc.

FFF Enterprises Inc., a vaccine, plasma products, and critical-care biopharmaceuticals distributor, has named John McAlpine to the top finance spot. He succeeds Earl Culver, who has retired. McAlpine’s former titles include CFO of AmerisourceBergen Drug Co. and CFO of Telmar Network Technology Inc.

Bob Krakauer has been selected as the new finance chief at Aspect Software Inc. Most recently, he was interim CFO with Genesys.
