Former Microsoft CFO Peter Klein has resigned from the top finance spot at William Morris Endeavor Entertainment after just six months on the job. The talent agency said in a statement that he resigned for “personal reasons,” but multiple published reports suggested that his departure was related to difficulties meeting cost-cutting targets.
Movie exhibitor Cinemark Holdings has selected Sean Gamble to lead the finance function, effective Aug. 25. He replaces Robert Copple, who was named president and chief operating officer in January. Gamble had been finance chief at NBCUniversal.
James Saccaro has been appointed to the top finance spot at Baxter International, effective Aug. 4. He takes over from Robert Hombach, who will become head of finance at the firm’s biopharmaceuticals spin-off. Saccaro, who previously worked at Baxter and was named treasurer in 2011, most recently was CFO at Hill-Rom.
Holding company Leucadia National has named Teresa Gendron finance chief, effective Sept. 1. Gendron, who replaces the retiring Joseph Orlando, previously was chief accounting officer and controller at Gannett.
R. Scott Turicchi, president and former CFO of Internet-services provider j2 Global, will once again take on the top finance spot. He succeeds Kathleen Griggs, who has resigned, effective Aug. 8.
CommonWealth REIT has named Adam Markman CFO and treasurer. He had been managing director of Green Street Advisors.
Aaron Gaydosik has been appointed finance chief at Gulfport Energy. Previously, he was vice president of finance at Kodak Oil & Gas.
Consultancy GlobalLogic has selected Anna Brunelle to lead the finance function. Most recently, she held the top finance spot at TiVo.
Mark Zorko has been appointed interim CFO of Landauer, succeeding Michael Burke. Zorko has been senior financial adviser to the firm, which monitors and measures radiation, since April.
Gill Holding Co. has chosen J. Timothy Gargaro to lead the finance function. He joins the firm from Constellation Enterprises, where he also headed finance.
