Advanced Micro Devices Inc. has named Devinder Kumar to lead the finance function. He had been interim CFO since September, following the resignation of Thomas Seifert.

Robert Christensen has been promoted to the top finance spot at truck designer and manufacturer Paccar Inc. Christensen, who started at the company in 1983, was executive vice president.

Progress Software Corp. has appointed Chris Perkins CFO and senior vice president, finance & administration, effective February 1. He takes over from Melissa Cruz, who had previously announced her retirement. Formerly, Perkins headed finance at Eclipsys Corp. and at Per-Se Technologies.

On December 31, David Grace retired as finance chief of Beacon Roofing Supply Inc. A search for his replacement is under way; in the meantime, chief accounting officer Rick Welker will serve as acting CFO.

Online-backup provider Carbonite Inc. has selected Anthony Folger as CFO and treasurer. Most recently, he led the finance function at Acronis.

CFO and treasurer Lisa McDermott has resigned from Pall Corp., effective March 10. A search for her successor is under way.

Kelser Corp. has named Donald Noble to the top finance spot. He joins the information technology and services provider from Foedus Group, where he also headed finance.

Catherine Kramer has been promoted to CFO and vice president-finance at Sifco Industries Inc. She takes over from Frank Cappello, who left the company on December 31. Previously, Kramer was director of financial planning and analysis.
