Harmit Singh will become finance chief of Levi Strauss & Co. on January 16. Formerly, he was CFO of Hyatt Hotels Corp.
Integrys Energy Group Inc. has promoted James Schott to be its next CFO. He replaces Joseph O’Leary, who had announced that he would retire next year. Previously, Schott was vice president-external affairs.
Naveen Chopra has been promoted to head finance at TiVo Inc. He takes over from Anna Brunelle, who has resigned. Chopra had been senior vice president of corporate development and strategy.
Medical-device firm Infraredx Inc. has named Michael Guarasci to lead the finance function. Most recently, he was chief operating officer of Indus Capital Partners LLC.
John Jureller will join Frontier Communications Corp. on January 7 and will become finance chief on February 27. At that time, he will replace Don Shassian, who is resigning but will stay on at the company until the end of March to aid in the transition. Formerly, Jureller was senior vice president, finance and operations, for the resources group at General Atlantic LLC.
Ryan Benton has been appointed CFO and senior vice president, finance, of Exar Corp., which designs and develops analog mixed-signal integrated circuits. He succeeds Kevin Bauer, who had held those posts since 2009. Benton joins Exar from SynapSense Corp., where he also headed finance.
Consumer finance firm Regional Management Corp. has named Donald Thomas to the top finance spot, effective January 1. He takes over from Robert Barry, who will help in the transition before he retires on January 15. Previously, Thomas was CFO of TMX Finance.
Republic Services Inc. has appointed Glenn Culpepper to head finance, effective January 9. He replaces Tod Holmes, who had announced that he planned to retire in 2013. Culpepper comes to the provider of nonhazardous waste-management services from Summit Materials, where he was CFO for the past two years.
Tom Herzog has been named to lead the finance function at real estate investment trust UDR Inc. Formerly, he was CFO of Amstar.
