Flowserve Corp. has appointed Michael Taff to be its new finance chief; he will join the firm early next year. Previously, he was CFO of The Babcock & Wilcox Co.
Tom Seaver has been named to lead the finance function at retailer Trans World Entertainment Corp. He succeeds John Sullivan, who has been CFO since 2001 and will be principal accounting officer during a transition period. Most recently, Seaver was vice president-strategic planning at Albany International Corp.
ION Geophysical Corp. has appointed Gregory Heinlein to the top finance spot. He replaces R. Brian Hanson, now president and chief operating officer. Formerly, Heinlein was chief operating and financial officer at Genprex Inc.
Shopping-center owner General Growth Properties Inc. has named Michael Berman to head finance, effective December 15. He takes over from Steve Douglas, who will stay on at the company until December 31 to aid in the transition. Berman has served as CFO and treasurer of Equity LifeStyle Properties Inc. since 2003.
