Domino’s Pizza Inc. has promoted Michael Lawton to the top finance spot. He replaces Wendy Beck, who is leaving to become CFO of Norwegian Cruise Line. Lawton has been at the company since 1999, most recently as executive vice president of its international division.
Mark Bierley has resigned from bookseller Borders Group Inc. Vice president Glen Tomaszewski will serve as interim CFO while a search is under way for Bierley’s successor.
Peer-lending network Lending Club has named Carrie Dolan head of finance. She is a former treasurer of The Charles Schwab Corp. and was CFO of Schwab Bank.
Hypres Inc., a superconductor electronics developer, has named Paul Donofrio CFO. Most recently, he was finance chief at The Innovative Companies LLC.
John Cochrane has been promoted to lead the finance function at holding company PMA Capital Corp. Cochrane, who joined the firm in 2003, has been interim CFO since December.
Transportation company Ryder System Inc. has named finance chief Robert Sanchez president of its global fleet management solutions division, effective September 1. He takes over from Anthony Tegnelia, who is retiring. Art Garcia, who has been controller since 2005, will succeed Sanchez as CFO.
John Rego is the new CFO and treasurer of Petra Solar Inc. Most recently, he was CFO and treasurer of Vonage Holdings Corp.
Pharmaceutical firm Celgene Corp. has named Jacqualyn Fouse to the top finance spot, effective September 27. She replaces David Gryska, who will leave the company on November 1. Fouse comes to Celgene from Bunge Ltd., where she also was CFO.
American Well Inc. has named James Malone finance chief, effective September 13. Malone joins the firm, which lets people contact physicians online, from Misys plc, where he also headed finance.
John Cooper will add the title of president to his role as CFO of biotechnology firm Discovery Laboratories Inc. He has been head of finance since he joined the company in 2001.
