CFOs on the Move: Week Ending April 8

Gerard McGraw, president of Fidelity Institutional, has been selected to head finance at parent company FMR LLC. He replaces Alan Scheuer, who is retiring at the end of the quarter.

Rx Savings Solutions has named Frank Bednar to fill the top finance spot. Most recently, he was executive director, finance, clinical franchise solutions, at Quest Diagnostics.

Eversource Energy has promoted finance chief Jim Judge to president and CEO, effective May 4. Judge, who succeeds the retiring Tom May, will also continue as CFO until his replacement has been named.

Brokerage BGC Partners has appointed Steve McMurray to lead the finance function. He takes over for Graham Sadler, who is retiring. Previously, McMurray was director of finance at insurer Amlin.

Ron Pasek has been chosen to head finance at NetApp. He succeeds interim CFO Jeffrey Bergmann, who will return to his former post as vice president of corporate finance. Pasek previously was finance chief at Altera; before that, he had several roles at Sun Microsystems, including vice president, finance, global sales, and service; and treasurer.

Electronic-products designer and manufacturer Visteon has selected William Robertson as its interim CFO, replacing the departing Jeff Stafeil. Robertson, who joined the firm in 2000, will also remain corporate controller while the company searches for a permanent successor to Stafeil.

Sungard Availability Services has appointed Susan Lynch finance chief. Previously, she was CFO, global information solutions, at Hitachi.

Real estate investment trust LaSalle Hotel Properties has named Kenneth Fuller CFO, secretary, and treasurer, effective April 25. He takes over for Bruce Riggins, who is leaving the company. Most recently, Fuller was founder, owner, and principal of Vine Investment Partners.

Navigant Consulting has chosen Stephen Lieberman to lead the finance function, succeeding interim CFO Thomas Nardi. Previously, Lieberman was senior vice president, finance, and CFO, Latin America, at Laureate Education.

Retailer Fred’s Inc. has appointed Rick Hans to head finance, replacing Jerry Shore, who was promoted to CEO in 2014. Formerly, Hans was vice president of investor relations and finance at Walgreen Co.
