George Gresham has resigned as finance chief of Global Cash Access Holdings Inc. to take the same position at NetSpend Corp. President and CEO Scott Betts will become interim CFO of Global, which provides cash-access products to casinos and other gaming venues, until a successor for Gresham is found.
Networking-equipment provider Network Equipment Technologies Inc. has promoted David Wagenseller to the top finance spot. Wagenseller, who has been at the firm since 1986, has served as acting CFO since November.
Amgen Inc. has promoted CFO Robert Bradway to the roles of president and chief operating officer, effective May 11. Bradway, who joined the firm in 2006 as vice president, operations strategy, has led finance since 2007. Michael Kelly, vice president of finance and chief accounting officer of the biotechnology company, will be acting CFO until a permanent replacement for Bradway is found.
Printer-cartridge manufacturer Media Sciences International Inc. has announced that Kevan Bloomgren has resigned as head of finance, effective May 14. The search for his replacement is under way; in the meantime, controller Denise Hawkins will take on the job of principal accounting officer.
Gregory Rush has been promoted to CFO of mobile-data-management and network-signaling company Tekelec. He has been corporate controller and chief accounting officer for the past five years, and has been interim CFO since the retirement of previous finance chief Bill Everett last month.
