German engineering company Schaeffler’s CFO Thomas Hetmann will leave the company by mutual agreement once his responsibilities have been transferred to a successor. Mary Jo Gresens, CFO from 1999 to 2006, will return to the company to act as a consultant in coming months.
Real estate firm DTZ has announced that finance director Colin Child has decided to resign after the company completed its fundraising. He is expected to leave at the end of July to seek “new challenges outside the company.”
Michael Majerus, former CFO at German chip-maker Qimonda, has been appointed CFO of pharmaceutical company Phoenix. He succeeds Reinhard Rupp, who is standing down due to personal reasons, but will continue to act as a consultant to the group.
Irish fuel retailer Topaz Energy announced that Eddie O’Brien, the company’s CFO, will succeed Danny Murray as CEO. Murray will retire as CEO of the company at the end of March.
Mama Group, which also owns UK music venues including the Hammersmith Apollo, has appointed former HMV head of retail finance Christopher Pennie as its finance chief after former finance director Tom Simmons announced his retirement.
Christian Domany will step down as CFO of airport operator Vienna Airport due to family reasons. He will be succeeded by Lower Austria’s vice governor and economic councillor, Ernest Gabmann.
