CFOs on the Move: Week Ending September 23

Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios Inc. has named Dene Stratton to the top finance spot. He joins the company from Walt Disney Co., where he most recently was CFO, Jetix Europe.

Specialty retailer Express Inc. has promoted CFO and chief administration officer Matthew Moellering to chief operating officer. He will be replaced as finance chief by D. Paul Dascoli, previously CFO of VF Jeanswear Ltd. Partnership.

Michael Kershaw has been appointed to lead the finance function at construction company Tutor Perini Corp. He takes over from Kenneth Burk, who will become CEO of the company’s newly formed Specialty Contractors Group. Kershaw comes to the firm from The Shaw Group, where he has been chief accounting officer since 2007.

Walter Investment Management Corp. has named finance chief and treasurer Kimberly Perez to the new post of chief accounting officer. In turn, president and chief operating officer Charles Cauthen will become chief operating officer and CFO.

Cardiovascular genomic diagnostics firm CardioDx Inc. has appointed Andrew Guggenhime to the top finance spot. He formerly headed finance at Calistoga Pharmaceuticals Inc., which was acquired by Gilead Sciences in April.

Frank Hanagarne Jr. will be the new head of finance at Coeur d’Alene Mines Corp., effective October 1. Previously, he was chief operating officer of Valcambi SA.

Mesa Energy Holdings Inc. has named Rachel Dillard finance chief. Most recently, she was an accounting technical monitor at the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp.

Home health care and medical staffing provider Maxim Healthcare Services Inc. has appointed Brett Barlag CFO and chief strategy officer. He is a former senior managing director of FTI Consulting Inc.

Greeley and Hansen has named Theresa Grace to lead the finance function. She joins the engineering firm from Heidrick & Struggles International, where she was vice president of internal audit.

Chistopher O’Meara has been named to the top finance spot at information-storage firm DataDirect Networks Inc. He is a former CFO of Adaptec Inc. and of Tibco Software.
