TIAA-CREF has named Virginia Wilson to the top finance spot. Previously, she was CFO of Wyndham Worldwide Corp. Wilson replaces Georganne Proctor, who was appointed chief integration officer in January.
Tom Horton, CFO and executive vice president of finance and planning at American Airlines’s parent company AMR Corp., has been promoted to president-AMR and American Airlines.
Didier Hirsch has been named finance chief at Agilent Technologies Inc. He has served as acting CFO since April 1.
Women’s clothing retailer Christopher & Banks Corp. has named vice president, finance, Michael Lyftogt to the position of interim CFO. He succeeds Rodney Carter, who has left the company. Lyftogt, who has been at the firm since 1998, was also promoted to chief accounting officer.
Mark Mey will take over the top finance spot at Atwood Oceanics Inc. on August 11 upon the retirement of current CFO James Holland. Mey joins the offshore drilling company from Scorpion Offshore Ltd., where he was CFO.

Lee McGrath is the new finance chief at DotNetNuke Corp., the provider of a Web content management platform for Microsoft .NET. Most recently, he was CFO of Librato Inc.
Leroy Ball has been named to lead the finance function at Koppers Holdings Inc., effective September 1. He takes over at the carbon compounds and treated wood products producer from Brian McCurrie, who was named senior vice president, global carbon materials and chemicals, on May 1. Ball is a former CFO of Calgon Carbon Corp.
Oil and gas production and exploration firm Hyperdynamics Corp. has named John O’Keefe to head finance. He replaces Jason Davis, who will become director of finance and treasury. O’Keefe is a former CFO of Blast Energy Services, and later became president and CEO of that company.
