CFO Peter Klein has announced he is leaving Microsoft at the end of June. He has been at the company since 2002 and was appointed CFO of Microsoft’s business division in 2006.
Humberto Alfonso, CFO and chief administrative officer at The Hershey Co., has been promoted to president, international, effective May 13. He will be replaced as finance chief by David Tacka, formerly chief accounting officer.
Chiquita Brands International Inc. has appointed Rick Frier to lead the finance function, effective when the firm files its first-quarter financial report; he will be senior vice president, finance, until then. Frier succeeds Brian Kocher, who has been named chief operating officer. Most recently, Frier was CFO of Catalina Marketing Corp.
Thomas Hollister is retiring as CFO and chief operating officer of Global Partners LP, effective June 30. Treasurer Daphne Foster will take over as finance chief at the marketing and logistics firm.
Energy-intelligence software provider Enernoc Inc. has named Neil Moses to head finance. He is a former CFO of PTC and of Dunkin’ Brands.
Nutrisystem Inc. has appointed Michael Monahan to be its next finance chief, effective May 22. Most recently CFO of PetroChoice Holdings Inc., Monahan previously was vice president of finance at Nutrisystem from 2006 until 2009.
John Frederick has been promoted to the posts of CFO and chief administrative officer at Avid Technology Inc., effective immediately. Frederick, who has been chief of staff at the creator of digital audio and video technology since February, replaces Ken Sexton, who will become a consultant to the firm.
Aerospace and industrial distribution company Kaman Corp. has promoted treasurer Robert Starr to the top finance spot, effective July 1. He will succeed William Denninger, who is retiring as of June 30.
Mark Hays has been named finance chief at Destination Hotels & Resorts Inc. He has been at the company since 2005 and was appointed corporate controller in 2007.
