Scott Lipesky has been appointed to lead the finance function at Abercrombie & Fitch, effective Oct. 2. He replaces Joanne Crevoiserat, who continued to head finance after her promotion to chief operating officer in February. Most recently head of finance at American Signature, Lipesky previously was CFO at Abercrombie & Fitch’s Hollister Co.

U.S. Concrete has hired John Kunz as its new CFO. He most recently was corporate controller and principal accounting officer of Tenneco, a maker of clean-air systems for automobiles.

Biotechnology firm Vertex Pharmaceuticals has named Tom Graney to the top finance spot, effective Sept. 13. He formerly was CFO and senior vice president of finance and corporate strategy at Ironwood Pharmaceuticals.

Pan-American Life Insurance Group has promoted David Demmon to CFO and controller. He had been chief accounting officer and controller since joining the company in 2012.

Real estate services firm Stewart Information Services has appointed David Hisey CFO, secretary, and treasurer. He takes over for Allen Berryman, who previously announced his retirement. Most recently, Hisey was acting CFO for Prospect Mortgage.

James O’Connor has resigned as CFO, secretary, and treasurer of Bravo Brio Restaurant Group, effective Sept. 15. The company has begun a search for his successor.

Auto-parts firm LKQ has selected Varun Laroyia to lead the finance function, effective Oct. 1. He previously held the top finance spot at CBRE’s global workplace solutions business.

Charles Rayfield has been named to head finance at Knoll. He came to the company in 2015 as vice president of finance and corporate controller and has been chief accounting officer and acting principal financial officer since June.

Water-infrastructure pipes and products manufacturer Forterra has named Charlie Brown to fill the top finance spot, replacing the resigning Matt Brown. Formerly, he started at Oldcastle Materials as vice president of finance in 2003 and was promoted to senior vice president of finance in 2007 and CFO in 2008.

Kevin Bisson has been named CFO and executive vice president of finance at Ipswitch, a software designer and developer. Previously, he led the finance function at Dyn.

David Demas has joined TriState Capital Holdings as executive vice president of finance and will become finance chief on Jan. 1 following a transition period. He will then take over from Mark Sullivan, who will remain vice chairman of the firm. Demas comes to the company from Deloitte & Touche, where he was senior partner in the financial-services practice at the company’s San Francisco office.
