Charlotte Hanneman | Philips
Philips appointed Charlotte Hanneman as the health technology giant’s new chief financial officer, effective October 1. Hanneman was most recently controller and head of FP&A at global medical technology company Stryker. Before that, she held several international finance leadership roles at Stryker, and other health-care multinationals, including Merck, Schering-Plough, and Organon. Hanneman will join Philips as a member of its executive committee in June and will take over for current CFO Abhijit Bhattacharya, who will retire from the company on September 30. Bhattacharya has been CFO and a member of Philips’ board and executive committee since 2015.
Adam Miller | Knight-Swift Transportation
Knight-Swift Transportation promoted its chief financial officer, Adam Miller, to chief executive officer, replacing David Jackson, who is stepping down after nine years. Miller joined the freight transportation company in 2002, and was most recently chief financial officer and president of Swift Transportation. The company appointed Andrew Hess as Miller’s successor in the CFO seat. Hess has been the company’s senior vice president of M&A and senior vice president of finance for Swift Transportation. Hess joined the company in 2019 after a 19-year career at Honeywell, where he held several finance leadership roles.
Remco Steenbergen | Lufthansa Group
Remco Steenbergen, chief financial officer of Lufthansa Group, will leave the airline amid a restructuring of its leadership team. Steenbergen will depart the company on May 7 after working as CFO since 2021. Before joining Lufthansa Group, he was chief financial officer of Barry Callebaut Group. He previously worked at Philips and KPMG. Michael Niggemann will take on the role of interim CFO in addition to his duties as a board member for the personnel, logistics, and non-hub business division.
Danielle De Rosa | Safety Shot
Danielle De Rosa was appointed chief financial officer of Safety Shot, a beverage company that makes an alcohol detoxifier to reduce blood alcohol content. De Rosa was previously CFO of VirTra, a provider of simulators for the law enforcement, military, educational, and commercial markets. Before that, she was the senior finance officer of the health-care organization Common Spirit, managing finances for more than 150 hospitals. She also held the CFO role at Lorts Manufacturing, a furniture store manufacturer. De Rosa replaces Markita Russell, who will return to her role as controller of Safety Shot and of SRM Entertainment, a spin-out.
James Miln | Xometry
AI-powered marketplace Xometry hired James Miln as its new finance chief. Miln joins the company from Yelp, where he was most recently senior vice president of finance and investor relations. He previously held financial leadership roles at eBay, Yahoo!, and Unilever and has also led global teams in Europe for Yahoo! and Unilever. Miln succeeds retiring CFO Jim Rallo, who has held the top finance spot since April 2020 and led the company’s public offering. Rallo will remain with the company as an adviser through April.
Kevin Royal | Flux Power
Flux Power, a company that designs, develops, and manufactures lithium-ion energy storage solutions, named Kevin Royal as CFO. Royal was previously CFO of education technology company Zovio, and, before that, was CFO of Maxwell Technologies, a manufacturer of energy storage and power delivery products. He also worked as chief financial officer of web security solutions provider Blue Coat Systems and semiconductor manufacturer Novellus Systems. Royal replaces Chuck Scheiwe, who will stay with the company in a consulting role to help with the transition.
Juan Joachin | National DCP
National DCP, a supply chain management company serving the franchisees of Dunkin' Donuts, hired Juan Joachin as its new chief financial officer. Most recently, he was senior vice president of finance at Inspire Brands, the multi-brand restaurant company whose portfolio includes Dunkin', Arby's, and Buffalo Wild Wings. Before that, he was Domino's Pizza's senior vice president of finance operations. His career also included several financial leadership roles in organizations in the bakery, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, and consumer goods space, including international roles in LATAM and Europe.
Dean Butler | Silicon Labs
Dean Butler will take over as chief financial officer of Silicon Labs on May 14. Butler joins Silicon Labs from Synaptics, where he has been CFO since October 2019. He previously held financial leadership positions at Marvell Technology and Broadcom, where he led the finance organization of a multibillion-dollar division. Butler started his career at Wells Fargo and Maxim Integrated. He succeeds interim CFO Mark Mauldin.
