Kraft Heinz appointed Andre Maciel as executive vice president and global CFO, effective March 2. Maciel had been U.S. CFO and head of digital transformation. At Kraft Heinz since 2013, he has also been vice president of global FP&A. Maciel will succeed Paulo Basilio, who resigned on January 19. Basilio, a partner at 3G Capital, will remain as a strategic adviser to the company through August 2022.
The CFO of automotive parts supplier Genuine Parts, Carol Yancey, announced her retirement effective May 2. Yancey served nine years as finance chief and 30 years with Genuine Parts. Assuming the CFO role will be Bert Nappier, a 16-year veteran of FedEx who recently was executive vice president, finance, and treasurer. Nappier also held executive positions for FedEx in Europe and was international CFO of FedEx Express for two years.
Rail transportation company CSX promoted interim finance chief Sean R. Pelkey to executive vice president and CFO. Pelkey became interim CFO in June 2021 when Kevin Boone became executive vice president of sales and marketing. Pelkey has held various finance management roles at CSX since 2005, including vice president of finance and treasury.
Fender Musical Instruments named Matt Janopaul as chief financial officer, succeeding Jim Broenen, who retired last month and spent 13 years as finance chief. Janopaul will focus on optimizing Fender’s global sales and supply footprint and incorporating products and software from recently acquired PreSonus, a maker of professional audio equipment. Janopaul joins the famed guitar maker from Servco Capital, the majority owner and long-term investor in Fender. Over the past decade and a half, Janopaul has served as Fender’s COO and as a board member.
Semiconductor firm Western Digital appointed Wissam Jabre to executive vice president and chief financial officer, effective February 7. Jabre was most recently finance chief of Dialog Semiconductor and before that corporate vice president of finance at Advanced Micro Devices. He also spent ten years at Freescale Semiconductor, including as CFO of the networking and multimedia group. Current Western Digital CFO Robert Eulau will remain with the company during the transition.
BlueTriton Brands, formerly Nestlé Waters North America, named Javier Idrovo to the chief financial officer spot. Idrovo is the former CFO of The Hain Celestial Group, an organic and natural products company. Before Hain, Idrovo served as chief accounting officer of the Hershey Company, where he led FP&A and business development. Nestlé sold its North American unit to private equity firms One Rock Capital Partners and Metropoulos & Co. in February 2021. They rebranded the company BlueTriton.
