• Time Warner Cable Inc. has promoted Arthur Minson from senior vice president of finance to executive vice president and deputy CFO. He joined the company nearly two years ago from AOL, where he was senior vice president of corporate finance and development. He has also worked at Rainbow Media Holdings Inc. as senior vice president of finance and vice president of business operations; and at Time Warner Digital Media as executive director of finance and business development and Time Warner Inc. as director of finance special projects. He began his career at Ernst & Young.

• Siemens has revoked Hannes Apitzsch’s appointment as CFO of its industry sector following a corruption investigation. He will stay with the company for now but will not take on the CFO spot as the company had announced he would have by January 1.

• CFO William Kurtz will leave Novellus Systems after filing the semiconductor maker’s 10-K for the fiscal year ended December 31, 2007, which will likely happen at the end of February. After more than two years with Novellus, he plans to join a private venture-backed company on March 1. Kurtz has also worked at Engenio, as CFO, as well as 3PARdata, Scient Corp, AT&T, and PricewaterhouseCoopers. Chief business officer Jeffrey Benzing has been appointed executive vice president and chief administrative officer to take on some of Kurtz’s responsibilities. He has been with the company since 1988.

• Occidental Petroleum CFO Stephen Chazen has been appointed president. In addition to finance, Chazen already was responsible for the company’s overall strategy, corporate development, oil and gas marketing, and chemicals. Now he will also be in charge of oil and gas exploration. Chazen joined Occidental in 1994 as executive vice president of corporate development and was named CFO in 1999.

• George Scanlon has resigned as vice president and CFO of Levitt Corp., effective January 11. The parent company of real estate developer Core Communities, Levitt expects to retain Scanlon on a contract basis through the end of the next year. Tatum LLC partner Patrick Worsham will take over Scanlon’s duties on an interim basis. He has served as the CFO of Coca-Cola USA and Dixon Tom-A-Toe Cos.

• Pacific Ethanol has appointed Joseph Hansen as CFO, effective January 2. He formerly held the CFO title at JosephScott Properties, National RV Holdings, and Zacky Farms Co. Hansen’s predecessor, Douglas Jeffries, resigned over the summer after less than two months on the job.

• Deckers Outdoor Corp. has promoted Zohar Ziv from CFO and executive vice president of finance and administration to chief operating officer, effective January 1. The footwear company is searching for Ziv’s replacement. He will retain his CFO duties until his successor is found. Ziv joined Deckers nearly two yeas ago. He previously was CFO of EMAK Worldwide and Stravina Operating Co.

• Torrent Energy Corp. has promoted Pete Craven from vice president of finance to CFO. He was hired in February to eventually replace Mike Fowler, who resigned to undertake other personal and professional opportunities. Fowler, who had served as CFO since January 2006, will assist Torrent as a consultant during the transition. As for Craven, he previously served as controller for Nerco Inc., a PacifiCorp subsidiary. He began his career at Ernst & Young.

• Richard FitzGerald has resigned as CFO and treasurer of Eagle Rock Energy G& P LLC, effective December 28, citing personal family reasons for his departure. Senior vice president of corporate development Alfredo Garcia has been named interim CFO. He was also Eagle Rock’s acting CFO from July through November, while FitzGerald was absent following a serious accident while on a summer vacation. Garcia served as CFO of Eagle Rock’s predecessor entities from 2004 through 2006.

• Craig Collins has joined Advent Software as CFO designate with the expectation that he will assume the permanent role in March. He joins the company from IronPort, where he was executive vice president and CFO. He has also served as CFO at Brio Software, CoSine Communications, and Optical Coating Laboratory. In addition he held a variety of finance and information technology roles, including senior vice president of finance, at Hills Bros. Coffee/Nestle Beverage Co.

• CFO John Edmunds is leaving Trident Microsystems in mid-January to take on a similar position at Inphi Corp. He joined the provider of digital TV technology three years ago. Trident is searching for his replacement.

• Real estate developer WCI Communities has appointed vice president and treasurer Ernest Scheidemann as interim CFO. He joined the company three years ago. He has previously worked at AT&T as a controller and as CFO of both Walker Digital and GT2 Corp. He replaces James Dietz, who is leaving WCI on December 28 after nearly a decade as CFO.

• William Owen has resigned as executive vice president and CFO of Outdoor Channel Holdings, effective immediately. Shad Burke, the TV channel’s chief accounting officer since October, will serve as interim CFO.

• Bakers Footwear Group has announced that Lawrence Spanley will leave the company as CFO in February. Controller Charles Daniel will become vice president of finance and principal financial officer by then. He has been with Bankers for more than three years after previously working at accounting firm Stone Carlie and Co.

• TV company Ensequence has appointed Wayne Graham as chief financial officer. He most recently was CFO of Local Insight Media. He has also worked at ACS Media as CFO, and he co-founded Alaska Communications Systems Group. In addition, he has held senior positions with Integra Telecom and Pacific Telecom. He began his career at KPMG.
