Mike Lenz | FedEx
Mike Lenz is retiring from FedEx on July 31. Lenz joined the company in 2005 as vice president of finance at FedEx Office and was named chief financial officer in March 2020. Before joining the company, Lenz worked at American Airlines and Boeing. FedEx has started the search for his replacement.
Chris Suh | Visa
Visa appointed Chris Suh as CFO. Suh joins the company from video game company Electronic Arts, where he was chief financial officer. Before that, Suh was Microsoft's corporate vice president and finance chief of the Cloud + AI group. Suh succeeds long-standing Visa CFO Vasant Prabhu, who will become CFO-designate and then leave the company on Sept. 30.
Sabra Purtill | AIG
AIG’s interim finance chief, Sabra Purtill, has been named to the role permanently. Purtill joined the insurance company in 2019 as deputy CFO and treasurer and, before being named executive vice president and interim CFO in January, was chief investment officer of the life and retirement group. She was previously chief investment officer of Corebridge Financial. Purtill succeeds Shane Fitzsimons, who will step down from his position following a medical leave of absence.
Lea Daniels Knight | Integra LifeSciences
Lea Daniels Knight was appointed finance chief of medical device manufacturing company Integra LifeSciences, effective June 28. Most recently, Knight was the executive vice president of business finance for Booz Allen Hamilton. Before that, she spent 18 years working at Johnson & Johnson in finance roles with increasing responsibility, including CFO of Johnson & Johnson’s North America pharmaceuticals business. She started her career in public accounting at Arthur Andersen.
John Redett | Carlyle
Investment firm Carlyle promoted John Redett to CFO and head of corporate strategy, effective Oct. 1. Redett, who joined the company in 2007, was most recently head of global financial services. Before joining Carlyle, he worked at Goldman Sachs and JPMorgan. Redett succeeds Curt Buser, CFO of Carlyle since 2014, who will retire at the end of the year.
Stephen Wideman | World View
World View hired Stephen Wideman as chief financial officer. Wideman joins the stratospheric exploration company from aviation services provider Erickson, where he was finance chief. Before that, he was vice president of finance and corporate treasurer of thermal imaging camera maker FLIR Systems. He previously held vice president and treasurer roles at Quicksilver and Korn Ferry.
Michael Hand | Vince
Vince appointed Michael Hand as interim chief financial officer of the fashion retailer, effective July 1. Hand previously held finance leadership roles at Marc Jacobs, Cole Haan, Coach, and Movado, as well as Sotheby’s and PepsiCo. He takes over for Amy Levy, who is resigning for a new opportunity. Levy will stay with the company until June 30.
Jennifer Cote | Harvard Bioscience
Harvard Bioscience promoted Jennifer Cote to CFO. Cote joined the company as vice president of global finance in May 2022 and has been interim chief financial officer and treasurer since January 2023. Cote previously held various financial, strategy, and operating roles of increasing responsibility over 22 years at speaker and electronics manufacturer Bose. Positions she held during her tenure include head of finance for Bose’s headphones business unit.
