JoAnn Tan | Singapore Airlines
Singapore Airlines appointed JoAnn Tan as its first female finance chief. Tan, who is currently senior vice president of marketing planning of the airline, will take over on Sept. 10 for Tan Kai Ping, who will transition to the role of executive vice president of operations and chief operations officer. Tan joined Singapore Airlines in 1999 and has held several held senior management positions at the company including divisional vice president of business transformation.
Philip Boudreau | Abbott Laboratories
Abbott Laboratories promoted its controller, Philip Boudreau, to chief financial officer. Boudreau joined Abbott in 1997 as an analyst and has been vice president and corporate controller since 2020. Boudreau will continue to report to Robert Funck, who has been Abbott’s executive vice president of finance and CFO since March 2020. Funck will continue working as executive vice president of finance.
Christine McCarthy | Disney
Disney finance chief Christine McCarthy is stepping down to take family medical leave. McCarthy, who has been CFO for more than eight years, will become a strategic adviser while on leave and help find her permanent replacement. Kevin Lansberry, the executive vice president and CFO of Disney parks, experiences, and products division, will take over as interim CFO until McCarthy's successor is appointed.
David Oliver | Chico's
David Oliver was promoted to chief financial and accounting officer of Chico's, effective June 24. Oliver, who joined the retailer in 2012, is currently the company's senior vice president of finance, controller, and chief accounting officer. Oliver was also interim chief financial officer and senior vice president–controller from February 2020 until September 2021. Oliver succeeds Patrick Guido, who has resigned for a new role at another company where he can be closer to his family.
Daphne Kwon | NPR
Media organization NPR hired Daphne Kwon as its new finance chief. Kwon most recently worked at tech company Flipside Crypto, and, before that, was chief strategy officer at media company Meredith. She was the first CFO of the television network Oxygen Media and previously held CFO positions at lifestyle brand Goop and media wellness company Wanderlust Holdings.
Christopher Jones | BurgerFi
Christopher Jones will take over as chief financial officer of fast-casual restaurant chain BurgerFi on July 10. Jones has been CFO of Odyssey Marine Exploration for the last two years. Before that, he was vice president of corporate finance and development for gaming and resort operator Mohegan. Jones replaces Mike Rabinovitch, who is moving to Lionheart Capital, the company’s largest shareholder, as a senior adviser.

RiskOptics named Lisa Mogensen as the IT risk management solution company’s new CFO. Mogensen has more than 20 years of experience as a CFO, including at TheStreet and most recently NFT marketplace Super Studios. She started her career as an investment banker.

Discount retailer Five Below named Kristy Chipman as chief financial officer, effective July 17. Chipman was most recently executive vice president, chief financial officer, and chief operating officer at Ruth's Chris Hospitality Group. Before that, she held financial leadership roles with Orangetheory Fitness, Domino's Pizza, and McDonald's.
Yuri Biondo | Paysend
London-based cross-border payments platform Paysend appointed Yuri Biondo as CFO of the group’s U.S. business. Biondo joins the company from Tribal, where he has been global corporate controller for the past year. He previously held senior finance positions at Visa and American Express and started his career as an auditor at Ernst & Young.
