Amy Weaver was named president and CFO at Salesforce. Weaver, a current president and chief legal officer at the company, will take over for finance chief Mark Hawkin on February 1. Hawkin, who is retiring on January 31, will transition to an advisory role as CFO emeritus through October 2021. Before joining Salesforce, Weaver was executive vice president and general counsel at Univar. Previously, she was senior vice president and deputy general counsel at Expedia.
Capital One promoted Andrew Young to finance chief, effective March 1. Young has served as senior vice president and business line CFO at the company since April 2018. He has also served as the chief financial officer of Capital One, N.A., the largest of the company’s two national bank subsidiaries, since July 2018. Before that, he served as senior vice president, head of corporate planning, and CFO of infrastructure. Young joined Capital One in 1996 as an analyst. He takes over for R. Scott Blackley, who is leaving the company to become CFO at insurance startup Oscar Health Insurance.
Jennifer Biry is the new chief financial officer at WarnerMedia. Most recently, Biry was the chief financial officer of AT&T Communications’ mobility and entertainment organizations. Before that, Biry served as senior vice president of finance for AT&T’s technology organization. She also serves on the board of the Texas Women’s Foundation. Biry replaces Pascal Desroches, who will be moving into the role of CFO at AT&T.
Bart Demosky was named CFO at plane and train manufacturer Bombardier. Demosky’s previous leadership roles include working as the president and chief executive officer at Universal Rail Systems, executive vice president and chief financial officer at Canadian Pacific Railway, and chief financial officer at Suncor Energy.He replaces John Di Bert, who is leaving the company.
Amit Singhi has joined Humanetics Group as CFO. Singhi joins the crash testing technology and sensor company after previously holding CFO roles at both automotive private investment platform Piston Group and thermal imaging camera and sensor manufacturer FLIR Systems. He previously worked at Ford Motor Company, where he held various financial management positions, ending as chief financial officer of Ford South America. Singhi started his career as an electrical engineer at General Motors.
Southern Company Gas has named David Poroch executive vice president and chief financial officer. Poroch succeeds Dan Tucker, who will take on the role of executive vice president, CFO, and treasurer at Southern Company Gas’s sister business, Georgia Power. The change will be effective on January 1. Poroch began his career with Southern Company in 2012 as vice president and chief audit executive for Southern Company Services. In 2014, he served as the business’s vice president and comptroller at Southern Company’s subsidiary Georgia Power. Most recently, Poroch served Georgia Power as its executive vice president, CFO, and treasurer.
Kidney care company Strive Health named Brandi Riddle as chief financial officer. With more than 20 years of healthcare industry experience, Riddle most recently served as CEO and CFO at New West Physicians, a medical group owned by OptumCare. She has also worked as national controller at DaVita Medical Group and was vice president of financial operations at Genesis HealthCare.
Oliver Gratry has joined LeaseLock as CFO. Gratry previously worked at Facebook, where he was head of finance at F2 (Facebook Financial) and CFO at Novi Financial, a Facebook company building a digital wallet for the Libra network. He was also a co-creator of the Libra global payment system. Gratry’s career includes roles at Google, Morgan Stanley, and Aetna, where he served as vice president and CFO of the company’s West region.
Thomas Okray will become executive vice president and CFO at Eaton on April 1. Okray joins the power management company from W.W. Grainger, where he was senior vice president and chief financial officer. Okray has previously held several leadership roles, including executive vice president and chief financial officer at Advance Auto Parts, vice president of finance, global customer fulfillment at Amazon, and chief financial officer, global product development, purchasing, and supply chain at General Motors. He succeeds Richard Fearon, vice chairman and chief financial and planning officer, who will be retiring on March 31.
Michael Franco, Vornado Realty Trust’s president, has been appointed to the additional position of chief financial officer, effective December 31. Franco succeeds the company’s CFO and chief administrative officer Joseph Macnow, effective December 31. Macnow, who has been with Vornado since 1981, is stepping down and will remain a senior advisor to the company.
