The Madison Square Garden Co. has appointed Sean Creamer to lead the finance function, effective Sept. 1. He takes over for Bob Pollichino, who announced earlier in the year that he would retire. Creamer comes to the company from Arbitron, where he was president and CEO.

Panera Bread said that finance chief Roger Matthews has resigned. Executive vice chairman Bill Moreton will become interim CFO until a permanent successor for Matthews is found.

John Mills has been appointed to head finance at Lanyon. He joins the firm from Infogroup, where he was CFO; before that, he was treasurer at Sabre Holdings and CFO of Travelocity.

FTI Consulting has named David Johnson as its next finance chief, effective Aug. 25. Johnson, currently CFO of Athene Holding, will replace Roger Carlile, who has held the top finance spot at the consultancy since 2011.

Energy provider SolarCity has selected Brad Buss to lead the finance function, effective Aug. 11. He takes over from Bob Kelly, who is retiring. Most recently, Buss was CFO of Cypress Semiconductor.

Telecommunications company XO Communications has named Phong Le to head finance. Formerly, he was vice president of financial planning and analysis at NII Holdings and vice president, strategy and business operations, at Nextel Brazil.

Intersections Inc. has chosen Ronald Barden as its next CFO, effective Sept. 2. He takes over for John Scanlon, who is leaving the provider of identity-theft protection and credit management. Previously, Barden held the top finance spot at N1Health.

Finance chief Clifton Beckham has resigned from USA Truck, a provider of logistics and transportation, effective Sept. 30. A search for his successor is under way.

Analytics firm comScore has named Mel Wesley to the top finance spot, effective Aug. 29. He replaces Kenneth Tarpey, who is retiring. Wesley joins the company from Mandiant, where he also headed finance.
