Finance chief Robert Olson is retiring from Dish Network, effective Oct. 15. He will be succeeded by senior vice president of programming Steve Swain.
CME Group has promoted John Pietrowicz to CFO and senior managing director, replacing James Parisi, who is retiring on Dec. 31. Pietrowicz, who joined the derivatives marketplace in 2003, is currently deputy CFO and senior managing director, corporate development & finance.
Engineering and construction firm McDermott International has selected Stuart Spence to head finance, replacing Perry Elders. Previously, Spence was vice president, artificial lift, at Halliburton.
Olivier Leonetti has been named to the top finance spot at Western Digital, effective Sept. 8. He takes over from Tim Leyden, who is retiring but will stay on as an adviser through January of next year. Most recently, Leonetti was vice president, finance, at Amgen.
Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide has appointed Thomas Mangas to lead the finance function, effective Sept. 29. He joins the firm from Armstrong Floor Products, where he was CEO.
Optical-communications provider MRV Communications has chosen Mark Bonney as its next finance chief, succeeding Stephen Garcia. Bonney has been a member of the company’s board of directors since April of last year and is a former CEO and president of On Board Advisors, as well as a former CFO of Direct Brands.
Semiconductor manufacturer InvenSense has appointed Mark Dentinger to lead the finance function, effective Sept. 2. He takes over from Alan Krock, who is leaving the company. Previously, Dentinger headed finance at KLA-Tencor.
Robert Hureau has been named to the top finance spot at Pharmaceutical Product Development, effective Sept. 23. He is a former CFO of Centaur Guernsey.
Spirits manufacturer Beam Suntory has named Mauricio Restrepo to head finance. He is now regional finance director for SABMiller’s European business.
Charles Serianni has been promoted to finance chief at Republic Services. He replaces Glenn Culpepper, who has left the waste-management company. Serianni has been at the firm since 1997, and is a former chief accounting officer.
