John Shrewsberry has been promoted to finance chief at Wells Fargo, effective May 15. He replaces Timothy Sloan, who will lead the wholesale banking group. Shrewsberry now heads Wells Fargo Securities.
Health-care firm Humana has selected Brian Kane to lead the finance function, effective in June. He will succeed interim CFO Steve McCulley, who will remain chief accounting officer after Kane’s arrival. Kane joins Humana from Goldman Sachs, where he was a managing director.
Brian Roberts has resigned as CFO of Warner Music Group, but it is expected that he will stay on until the end of the firm’s fiscal year. He has been at the company since 2007 and was named CFO in 2012.
Dynamic Materials has appointed Michael Kuta to the top finance spot. He takes over from Rick Santa, who will become senior vice president of business development. Most recently, Kuta was corporate controller at The Lubrizol Corp.
Biopharmaceutical company Medivation has chosen Rick Bierly to head finance. He replaces Patrick Machado, who is retiring. Formerly, Bierly was an executive director in the financial accounting advisory services practice at Ernst & Young.
Karen Rosenberger has been promoted to CFO and treasurer at Synchronoss Technologies. She takes over from Lawrence Irving, who will be an adviser to the company until he retires at year-end. Rosenberger had been chief accounting officer since 2012.
Open-ad management platform firm Sizmek is moving its corporate headquarters from Dallas to Austin. As a result, finance chief Craig Holmes has resigned, effective May 31. A search is under way for his replacement.
Lakeland Financial has named Lisa O’Neill to lead the finance function. She succeeds president and CFO David Findlay, who will become CEO on April 8. Previously, O’Neill headed finance at First Manitowoc Bancorp.
