- iVillage Inc., which consists of several online and offline media-based properties geared toward females, named Steven Elkes chief financial officer. He has been with iVillage since 1996, the eve of the Internet bubble. He currently serves as executive vice president, operations and business affairs, a position he will continue to hold. He replaced Scott Levine, who resigned June 13 to pursue another employment opportunity.
- Flowserve Corp., which develops and manufactures precision-engineered flow control equipment, announced that its chief financial officer, Renee Hornbaker, resigned for personal reasons. She had served in the position since 1997. Vice President-Treasurer David F. Chavenson and Vice President-Controller and Chief Accounting Officer Richard J. Guiltinan will jointly assume the CFO responsibilities until a successor is found.
- Wabash National Corp., which designs, manufactures, and markets truck trailers, announced the resignation of Mark Holden, senior vice president and chief financial officer, effective June 30. He has served as CFO since 1995.
- Linux software provider Red Hat Inc. announced Monday that its chief financial officer, Kevin Thompson, will step down to pursue other interests.
- James Trouba has been named chief financial officer of technology services company Covansys Corp. He replaces John Andary, the former finance chief of Syntel, who had been serving as interim CFO since March 18. Andary will remain in a consulting capacity during a transition period. Trouba joins Covansys after almost 20 years at Ernst & Young LLP.
- Vitria, a provider of business process integration solutions, named Michael Perry senior vice president and chief financial officer. Perry was chief financial officer at Belo Corp. and Women.com Networks and was senior vice president of finance at Exodus Communications, the web hosting and professional services company.
