Anne Mehlman | Crocs
Anne Mehlman, current finance chief and executive vice president of footwear company Crocs, is being promoted to president of the Crocs Brand. Until Mehlman’s replacement is named, she will continue to work as CFO. Mehlman has over 20 years of global financial and operational experience and re-joined Crocs in 2018 as executive vice president and chief financial officer. She previously worked at the company as vice president of corporate finance. She was previously CFO of Zappos, the e-commerce retailer owned by Amazon. She also held various financial roles at RSC Equipment Rental, Corporate Express, and Lockheed Martin. Mehlman succeeds Michelle Poole, who is retiring.
Marshall Rosichuk | BuildDirect
BuildDirect hired Marshall Rosichuk as the building material retailer’s new interim chief financial officer. Rosichuk was previously CFO of Cantega Technologies and held senior finance roles with Raydan Manufacturing. He replaces interim CFO Matthew Alexander. Alexander joined the company in 2020 and was appointed interim CFO in September 2022 for outgoing finance chief Ethan Rudin, who resigned.
François-Xavier Roger | Sanofi
François-Xavier Roger will take over as chief financial officer of global healthcare company Sanofi on April 1. Roger joins the company from Nestlé, where he has been CFO for more than 8 years. Before Nestlé, he held CFO roles at multinational pharmaceutical company Takeda Pharmaceuticals, food company Danone Asia, and mobile phone operator Millicom. He spent the first 14 years of his career in pharma at Roussel, Hoechst, and Aventis. Roger takes over for Jean-Baptiste Chasseloup de Chatillon, who is stepping down to become head of Apprentis d’Auteuil, a foundation that supports young people and their families facing difficult situations.
James Rosenstock | PlayOn! Sports
PlayOn! Sports, a high school media and technology company, hired James Rosenstock as CFO. Rosenstock was previously finance chief at Skillshare, a creative learning marketplace, and ezCater, an online catering marketplace. Earlier in his career, he helped architect and operate Discovery's international businesses, where he oversaw Discovery Education International. He also held leadership roles with Sony, WWE, and Vice. Rosenstock began his career as an investment banker covering technology, media, and telecom.
Mike Marks | HCA Healthcare
Mike Marks, HCA Healthcare’s senior vice president of finance, was named finance chief of the health-care facilities operator, effective May 1. Marks joined the company in 1996 as a senior manager in internal audit and has held several positions in accounting and finance, including senior vice president of finance, vice president of financial operations support, CFO of the National Group, and CFO of the West Florida division. Marks succeeds Bill Rutherford, who is retiring after a 34-year career with the company.
Todd Suko | The RealReal
Todd Suko was appointed interim CFO of The RealReal while the luxury resale marketplace looks for its permanent finance chief. Suko currently works as the company’s chief legal officer and secretary, a position he will continue to hold while in the interim role. Suko joined the company in 2020 from digital ad marketplace OneMarket Limited, where he was CFO and chief legal officer. He replaces Robert Julian, a board member of Rayton and Shoals Technologies Group.
Renee Gaeta | Shockwave Medical
Shockwave Medical, a cardiovascular medical device company, appointed Renee Gaeta as chief financial officer, effective February 5. Gaeta was most recently CFO at healthcare technology company Eko Health, where she led the finance and human resources teams. She has been a member of the board of directors and the audit committee of Candel Therapeutics since August 2022. Before Eko Health, she was chief financial officer and a member of the executive team at Establishment Labs Holdings, where she played a key role in the company’s initial public offering. Gaeta succeeds Dan Puckett, who is retiring. Puckett has been the company’s CFO since 2016.
Scarlett O'Sullivan | Leaf Home
Scarlett O'Sullivan was named finance chief of Leaf Home, a home improvement products and services company. O'Sullivan previously spent nearly eight years as CFO of subscription fashion service Rent the Runway, which she helped take public in 2021. O’Sullivan has led technology firm IPOs as an investment banker and was previously a partner at venture capital firm SoftBank.
Christopher Craig | S&P Global
Following the announced departure of Ewout Steenbergen, S&P Global on Friday appointed Christopher Craig, it’s corporate controller and chief accounting officer, to interim CFO. Craig has been with McGraw Hill Financial (renamed S&P Gobal in 2016) since 2010. Before that, he was a partner at Grant Thornton. Craig becomes CFO effective Feb. 12. S&P said it “continues evaluating internal and external CFO candidates.” Steenbergen, who is leaving in March, was named CFO of online travel firm Booking Holdings in mid-December.
