FedEx appointed John Dietrich as its new finance chief, effective Aug. 1. Dietrich joins the company from aircraft leasing company Atlas Air Worldwide, where he has worked since 1999, most recently as president and chief executive officer. Dietrich previously worked for United Airlines for 13 years. Dietrich replaces Michael Lenz, who will step down at the end of July but stay with the business in an advisory capacity until his retirement at the end of the year.
Kyle Wismans | XPO Logistics
XPO Logistics promoted Kyle Wismans to finance chief. Wismans has been senior vice president of revenue management and finance at XPO since February and was previously the company’s senior vice president of financial planning and analysis. Before joining the company, he was an executive with General Electric Company for over a decade. Wismans replaces Carl Anderson, who is leaving the company to become CFO of Axalta.
Carl Anderson | Axalta
Carl Anderson will take over as CFO of Axalta on Aug. 14. Anderson joins the coatings company from freight transportation provider XPO, where he has been CFO since 2022. Before that, he spent more than 16 years at Meritor, a supplier for commercial vehicle manufacturers, where he was CFO for more than three years. Anderson succeeds Sean Lannon, who is leaving the company.
Alexis DeSieno | Cardlytics
Alexis DeSieno was named CFO of the advertising technology company Cardlytics. DeSieno was most recently senior vice president of finance at biometric travel document verification system Clear Secure. At Clear, she helped Before that, she held various finance roles at SoulCycle and The Estée Lauder Companies. DeSieno succeeds Andy Christiansen, who is resigning after three years in the role and more than eight years at the company.
Sharon Levita | ForSight Robotics
Surgical robot manufacturer ForSight Robotics hired Sharon Levita as its new chief financial officer. Most recently, she worked at healthcare technology company Medtronic as its business development and strategy leader at the company’s cranial and spinal technologies operating unit. Levita was previously CFO and vice president of business operations at Mazor Robotics for over a decade and led the company’s $1.6 billion acquisition by Medtronic in 2018.
Wendy DiCicco | Akari Therapeutics
Wendy DiCicco was named interim chief financial officer of the biotechnology company Akari Therapeutics. DiCicco was previously CFO for biopharmaceutical company Renovacor —where she was initially interim CFO — and led the company’s IPO in 2021 and sale to Rocket Pharmaceuticals in 2022. Previously, she was CFO and chief operating officer of Centinel Spine and president and chief operating officer of Camber Spine, both spinal implant developers.
Sean Bagan | Helios Technologies
Sean Bagan was named CFO of Helios Technologies. Bagan joins the industrial technology company from powersports and off-road vehicle maker Polaris, where he has worked for 23 years, most recently as vice president of finance and business unit CFO for international and shared services. Bagan takes over for Tricia Fulton, who is retiring after 26 years with the company and the last 17 years as CFO.
Patrick Davis | Bishop Fox
Bishop Fox hired Patrick Davis as the cybersecurity company’s new CFO. Davis joins the company after working as CFO of Fabric, where he helped launch the robotic fulfillment company into the U.S. Before that, he was finance chief of ad platform provider Sharethrough, and for Infrastructure-as-a-Service solution provider Vantage Data Centers. He has also held senior executive and managerial financial roles at Digital Realty Trust and PwC.
Mario Marte | Chewy
Mario Marte, CFO of the pet goods supplier Chewy, has announced his retirement. The group has also stated Stacy Bowman, currently chief accounting officer, has been appointed interim CFO while the company continues its search for a permanent CFO. Marte, currently a board member for Best Buy as well, climbed the ladder to CFO after career stints with big names like Goldman Sachs, Hilton, and Delta Airlines.
