KPMG has promoted a 23-year veteran of the firm as its “global CFO.” Helen Spice will take charge of finance for KPMG International, effective immediately, the accounting firm announced.
Spice began working for KPMG in 1985 in its UK office, and most recently worked at KPMG International developing and implementing the firm’s strategies. Now in her new role, she’ll need to relocate to Toronto from London.
“Helen Spice is uniquely qualified for the role of global CFO combining excellent judgment and interpersonal skills with 23 years of relevant business experience in the firm,” said Timothy Flynn, chairman of KPMG International.
She has a degree in mathematics from the University of York. In addition, she is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation in the U.K.
