Finance chief Artie Minson Jr. has been promoted to chief operating officer at AOL. A search for his successor is under way, and Minson will remain CFO until the post is filled.
Arthur Koch is resigning as CFO and executive vice president, finance, at specialty pharmaceutical firm Impax Laboratories. Vice president of finance Bryan Reasons will serve as acting CFO until a permanent replacement for Koch is found.
Waste Management has promoted James Fish Jr. to head finance, effective after the second-quarter financial reporting is finished. He takes over from Steven Preston, who is leaving the company. Fish, who has been at the firm since 2001, had been senior vice president of the Eastern Group.
Neill Davis has resigned from the top finance spot at retailer The Men’s Wearhouse, effective August 2. Chief accounting officer Diana Wilson will become interim CFO.
Ryerson Inc. has named Edward Lehner to lead the finance function, effective August 1. He succeeds William Johnson, who has been interim CFO since April. Lehner is a former CFO of PSC Metals.
Galaxy Gaming has appointed Gary Vecchiarelli CFO, corporate secretary, and treasurer. Previously, he was controller at Spectrum Pharmaceuticals.
Thomas Sabol has been named to head finance at Comverse, effective July 24. Most recently, he was CFO of Hypercom Corp. Comverse, a wholly owned subsidiary of Comverse Technology Inc., is expected to be spun off in that company’s third quarter.
Wayne Feasby is the new finance chief at Guardian Building Products. Formerly, he was CFO of ESAB Welding and Cutting.
