Richard Puccio | Analog Devices
Analog Devices hired Richard Puccio as its new finance chief. Puccio joins the semiconductor manufacturer from Amazon Web Services (AWS), Amazon’s global cloud and technology services provider, where he served as CFO since May 2021. Before AWS, he was at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) for nearly 29 years, more than two decades of that as a partner. Puccio takes over for Jim Mollica, who has been interim CFO since Oct. 2023.
Elaine Paik | Impossible Foods
Impossible Foods appointed Elaine Paik as finance chief of the plant-based food maker. Paik spent 25 years at Colgate-Palmolive. Her roles included vice president and corporate treasurer, and director of capital markets and European treasury. Paik most recently was CFO of e-cigarette maker Juul Labs, a position she held for three years; she left in June 2023.
Ismael Roig | ADM
U.S. agricultural giant Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) placed Vikram Luthar, chief financial officer and senior vice president, on administrative leave, effective immediately, as the company investigates accounting practices and procedures in its nutrition segment. Ismael Roig will serve as interim chief financial officer during Luthar’s absence. Roig was most recently president of Europe, the Middle East, and Africa at ADM and as president of animal nutrition, a position he was appointed to in late 2022. His previous roles include president of Carbohydrates Solutions International and establishing Global BioSolutions. Before joining ADM, he spent 11 years with General Motors in various treasury, finance, and controller positions.
Lars Sandström | Ericsson
Ericsson appointed Lars Sandström as the communication equipment maker's new chief financial officer, senior vice president, and head of group function finance. Sandström, who will join Ericsson on April 1, is currently CFO and executive team member at medtech company Getinge. Sandström has worked at Getinge since 2017 and previously held senior positions at AB Volvo, Scania, and Swedish Orphan Biovitrum. Sandström replaces Carl Mellander, whose departure was announced in April 2023 after having been with Ericsson for over 25 years and a member of its executive team since 2016. Mellander will leave Ericsson at the end of the first quarter of 2024.
Pierre La Tour | Salvatore Ferragamo
Salvatore Ferragamo hired Pierre La Tour as group CFO, effective March 18. La Tour joins the Italian luxury group from Biesse Group, a corporation that makes machinery and systems for processing wood, glass, stone, and composite materials, where he was group chief financial officer and investor relator. He started his career in the nonprofit sector for the Aga Khan Foundation, working on microfinance. Then he joined the Fiat Group, where he held various positions in the group companies with increasing responsibilities. He was later appointed CFO for Iveco Defence Vehicles and then took on the role of CFO for the specialty vehicles business unit created within CNH Industrial. He later was appointed CFO of China for Shanghai-based CNH Industrial.
Stephen Morana | Boohoo
Online fashion retailer Boohoo named Stephen Morana as chief financial officer, effective February 19. Morana was previously CFO of British gambling company Betfair and U.K. property website Zoopla, both of which he led through IPOs. He has also been a non-executive director at Entain and Boohoo from 2014 to 2017 and a venture partner at Octopus Ventures. His most recent executive position was CFO of British online car retailer Cazoo. Morana replaces Shaun McCabe, who left the business with “immediate effect” this week. McCabe was named Boohoo’s chief financial officer in October 2022, having been on its board since October 2020, and is leaving “by mutual agreement.”
Akash Palkhiwala | Qualcomm
Qualcomm finance chief Akash Palkhiwala is taking on the chief operating role in addition to his CFO responsibilities. Palkhiwala has been chief financial officer since 2019. He was previously senior vice president and finance lead for QCT, Qualcomm’s semiconductor business. Palkhiwala joined Qualcomm in 2001 and has held several finance leadership roles in treasury, FP&A, and corporate development.
Amy Reeves | View
Amy Reeves, CFO of smart window manufacturer View, will resign on Feb. 2. She will continue to work as an independent consultant upon the company's request. Reeves joined View in 2021 as vice president and principal accounting officer and was promoted to CFO in 2022. Before that, she worked at Wright Medical for 19 years, most recently as vice president and global controller.
Heena Agrawal | Duluth Holdings
Heena Agrawal will take over as CFO of casual wear company Duluth Holdings on Feb. 12. Agrawal is currently CFO of global Wrangler and global supply chain at Kontoor Brands. Agrawal spent the first 10 years of her finance career at Procter & Gamble, growing brands such as Crest, leading the integration of Oral-B, and developing growth models for NA Swiffer & Mr. Clean. She also spent seven years working at Walgreens Boots Alliance, most recently as senior finance group manager, North America household care.
