Rowan Conn is the new CFO at Universal Filmed Entertainment Group. He replaces Sean Gamble, who will leave the company for unspecified reasons but will stay on until March 31. Conn moves over from NBCUniversal International, where he was also CFO. Jason Beesley will take over that post.
BMG, the music rights entertainment company, has appointed Joe Gillen to head finance at BMG North America. He had been senior vice president of finance at Universal Music Group’s Capitol Music division.
Thomas Mitchell has been named finance chief of Devon Energy. He replaces Jeff Agosta, who is leaving the company. Mitchell joins the firm from Midstates Petroleum, where he was also CFO.
Triumph Group has promoted Jeffrey McRae to the top finance spot, effective in February. He takes over from M. David Kornblatt, who will become director of corporate development at the aircraft-component designer and manufacturer. McRae is now president of Triumph Aerostructures – Vought Aircraft Division.
Dental-laboratory operator National Dentex has appointed Mark Brockelman as CFO. Most recently, he was senior vice president/chief financial and administrative officer for the Miami Dolphins and Sun Life Stadium.
At Matrix Systems, an access control and security solutions company, Kelly Cain has been appointed to lead finance. Previously, she was CFO at Robert Bosch Tool.
Kurt Abkemeier is the new finance chief at Intelliquent, a voice-services provider. Eric Carlson, who had been interim principal financial officer since last August, will stay on as controller. Abkemeier previously was vice president of finance and treasurer at Cbeyond.
