Bob Pollichino plans to retire as head of finance at The Madison Square Garden Co. next fall, but he will remain a consultant to the company for 12 months after his retirement. A search for his replacement is underway.
Pericom Semiconductor has named James Boyd to the top finance spot. He is a former CFO of Silicon Storage Technology, ESS Technology and Gatefield Corp.
Drilling services and equipment provider Boart Longyear has appointed Jeffrey Olsen as finance chief, effective April 1. Most recently, he was chief commercial officer for Rio Tinto’s iron and titanium business; before that, he was CFO of that company’s minerals and borax divisions.
Robert Andersen has been selected to lead the finance function at Tessera Technologies. He succeeds acting CFO John Allen, who has gone back to his post as corporate controller. Andersen headed finance at G2 Holdings (doing business as Components Direct) from June 2011 until July 2013. That company was acquired by Avnet in April 2013.
Amneal Pharmaceuticals has appointed Rochelle Fuhrmann as CFO. She joins the company from Warner Chilcott, where she was senior vice president, finance.
Background-screening firm Sterling Infosystems has named Daniel O’Brien to head finance. Previously, he was CFO of Jackson Hewitt, and he has also held the top finance spot at Global Crossing, Hawaiian Telcom Holdco, Genuity and GTE.
