Peter Klein has been named finance chief of media and entertainment firm William Morris Endeavor Entertainment. Klein held the top finance spot at Microsoft from November 2009 until June 2013.

Network-security company Fortinet has selected Andrew Del Matto to head finance. He comes to the company from Symantec, where he held several positions during his nine-year tenure, including chief accounting officer, corporate treasurer, vice president of finance business operations and, most recently, acting CFO.

Jeremy Aguilar, CFO (principal financial and accounting officer) and secretary of electronics and appliance retailer hhgregg, has resigned, effective Jan. 31. Senior vice president, finance, Andrew Giesler has been named to replace him on an interim basis.

NeoPhotonics has named Ray Wallin to lead the finance function. He joins the optical network components designer and manufacturer from Micrel, where he also headed finance.

Aviall, a wholly-owned subsidiary of The Boeing Co., has appointed John Meersman to the top finance spot. Most recently, he was senior director of corporate and strategic development at Boeing.

Finance chief Cynthia Lucchese plans to leave diversified industrial firm Hillenbrand on March 31. A search for her successor will take place.

Construction-aggregate producer Vulcan Materials has promoted John McPherson to head finance. He replaces Dan Sansone, who will become executive vice president-strategy. Formerly, McPherson was senior vice president of the company’s east region.
