Merck has named Robert Davis to the top finance spot, effective April 23. He takes over from Peter Kellogg, who will leave the company on May 16 after a transition period. Davis is currently president of the medical-products division at Baxter.
Business consultancy AlixPartners has appointed Kevin Wills CFO and managing director, succeeding interim CFO Ken Hiltz. Formerly, Wills headed finance at Saks Inc.
Laboratory Corporation of America Holdings has named Glenn Eisenberg to lead the finance function, effective June 16. He replaces Brad Hayes, who will stay in his post through the transition. Previously, Eisenberg was CFO and executive vice president, finance and administration, at The Timken Co.
Finance chief Jeff Park has been named executive vice president, operations, at Catamaran Corp., a newly created post. Taking over the top finance spot at the technology and pharmacy-benefit management provider will be Mike Shapiro, formerly senior vice president, finance.
Bell and Howell has selected Arthur Bergens to head finance. He previously led the finance function at Overture Networks.
Jeff Ross has been named to the top finance spot at Cyan. He replaces Mike Zellner, who has resigned. Ross joins the firm from Velti, where he was also CFO.
Property-management software provider RealPage has promoted W. Bryan Hill to the roles of CFO and treasurer, effective May 15. He succeeds Timothy Barker, who has resigned. Hill has been senior vice president of finance since 2007.
Rod Sailor has resigned as finance chief at WPX Energy, effective March 31, to take the same position at Enable Midstream Partners. Controller and chief accounting officer J. Kevin Vann has been named interim CFO at WPX.
