
Jamie Miller | PayPal
Digital payments giant PayPal named Jamie Miller as its new finance chief. Miller was most recently global CFO of accounting firm EY for about six months, resigning in June after the firm canceled its plan to spin off its consulting business, which was the department Miller was planning to lead. Miller joined EY from agricultural company Cargill, where she became the company’s first female chief financial officer in June 2021. Before that, she worked at General Electric for 12 years in several leadership roles, most recently as CFO. Miller succeeds Gabrielle Rabinovitch, who is currently acting CFO. Rabinovitch took over the role after CFO Blake Jorgensen went on leave for health reasons, ultimately resigning in March.
Matt Omer | BuzzFeed
Matt Omer was appointed CFO of digital media company BuzzFeed, effective Nov. 6. Omer has worked at the company since 2019 and is currently executive vice president of finance and treasurer. Before joining the company, Omer was chief operating officer and CFO of 123 Home Care, a non-medical home care services provider. Before that, he held financial leadership positions at Viant Technology and various roles at KPMG. Omer succeeds Felicia DellaFortuna, who is leaving the company for a new opportunity. DellaFortuna joined the company in 2015 as senior director of finance and has been CFO since February 2020.
Elisa Palazzo | CarGurus
CarGurus hired Elisa Palazzo as its new finance chief, effective Dec. 4. Palazzo is currently deputy CFO and senior vice president of finance at online behavioral health services provider Talkspace. She took over as deputy CFO in April 2023 after initially joining the company as senior vice president of finance in 2021. Before that, she was a managing director at Hudson Executive Capital, and, earlier in her career, she held senior technology investment roles at several asset management institutions and was an investment banker at Credit Suisse.

Tony Skiadas | Verizon Communications
Verizon named Tony Skiadas as the telecommunications company’s chief financial officer. Skiadas joined Verizon Wireless (and its predecessor, Bell Atlantic Mobile) in 1996 and has been interim CFO since March as part of a leadership restructuring. Skiadas was previously senior vice president and controller for Verizon, along with senior vice president and CFO roles for the company’s financial services arm.
Neil Bowden | Canada Goose
Outdoor clothing company Canada Goose promoted Neil Bowden to CFO, effective April 1, 2024. Bowden has worked at the company for over seven years and is currently deputy CFO. Before Canada Goose, his career spanned more than a decade at KPMG in Toronto and Chicago, where he audited public companies in the consumer markets practice. Bowden succeeds Jonathan Sinclair, who will take on a new role as president of Asia–Pacific.
Curtis Valentine | Sprouts Farmers Market
Curtis Valentine was promoted to chief financial officer of Sprouts Farmers Market, effective Jan. 1, 2024. Valentine has worked at the supermarket chain since 2015 and is currently Sprouts’ senior vice president of finance. Before joining Sprouts, he worked in financial management roles across multiple business units for seven years at PetSmart. Valentine succeeds Lawrence “Chip” Molloy, who is retiring at the end of 2023.

David Schneider | Cenlar
David Schneider, CFO of mortgage loan subservicer Cenlar, has been appointed president of the company. Schneider joined the company this year and has previously held executive leadership positions at several companies, including president of CitiMortgage, president of WaMu Home Loans, CEO of Vericrest, and president of Ditech. John Mezzasalma has been named acting CFO. Mezzasalma joined Cenlar in 2015 as vice president and chief accounting officer and has been senior vice president of finance since April 2023.
Tim Martin | Guitar Center
Tim Martin is returning to musical instrument retailer Guitar Center as CFO, a role he previously held from 2012-2022. Most recently, Martin was chief financial officer and chief operating officer at women's retail chain Torrid, a role he held for 10 months before leaving in June. Martin has more than 25 years of experience at multiple consumer-facing companies including Lands' End, Gap, Disney, Coldwater Creek, and Amgen.
