Sami Siddiqui | Restaurant Brands International
Sami Siddiqui was promoted to CFO of Restaurant Brands International (RBI), a quick-service restaurant company that owns Tim Hortons, Popeyes, Burger King, and similar businesses. Siddiqui has worked at RBI for 11 years, including 8 years as brand president for Popeyes in Miami, all of its brands in the Asia-Pacific region, and Tim Hortons in Toronto. He first joined the company as head of finance and investor relations before becoming brand CFO for Tim Hortons and later Burger King. Before joining RBI, he worked at Blackstone. Siddiqui succeeds Matt Dunnigan, who is leaving the company.
Alice Pope | Novant Health
Alice Pope has been named as the new CFO for Winston-Salem, NC-based Novant Health. Pope assumes the role following her time at Inova Health System in Virginia, where she also served as finance chief. She additionally has held the CFO role at HonorHealth, Wellmont Health System, and Baptist Memorial Health Care. She began her accounting career at Arthur Andersen.
Nitin Agrawal | CoreWeave
Nitin Agrawal is joining CoreWeave, a specialized graphics processing unit (GPU) cloud provider, as its new CFO. Agrawal comes to CoreWeave from Google, where he was vice president of finance for Google Cloud. Before Google, he was chief financial officer of Mapbox, a maker of custom online maps. He earlier held leadership roles at Amazon Web Services, where he was CFO of the compute services division, and at Microsoft, where he held several leadership roles on the enterprise sales and corporate finance teams.
Katja Garcia Vila | Continental
Continental CFO Katja Garcia Vila announced she will step down by the end of her contract period in December 2024. Garcia Vila has worked at the automotive parts manufacturing company for more than 18 years and has been finance chief since 2021. At Contintental, she has been head of finance for the ContiTech business and head of worldwide group audit. Garcia Vila will continue in her role until a successor is appointed.
J. Mark Hastings | Phoenix Motor
Phoenix Motor, a heavy-duty transit bus manufacturer and electrification solutions provider, promoted J. Mark Hastings to the CFO seat. Hastings has been the company's chief investment officer since December 2023 and previously was senior vice president of corporate development and strategy and head of investor relations. Before that, he was vice president of finance and insurance at Rodo, where he headed its online fintech department and founded Rodo Insurance Agency. Hastings spent 25-plus years on Wall Street in the energy sector.
Ari Glazer | Mohegan
Ari Glazer was named chief financial officer of Mohegan, the owner of entertainment and gaming resorts, effective May 1. Before joining Mohegan, he spent 20 years at Citigroup, where he was most recently managing director and global head of gaming and hospitality client coverage. Glazer succeeds Carol Anderson, who is leaving the company on March 31.
Anastasia Marras | ZMC
New York-based ZMC, a private equity firm that invests in media and communications, has appointed veteran Anastasia Marras as its new finance chief. Marras has been with the investment firm since 2017, where she previously held the role of director of finance. Marras has a history of leadership roles in PE firms, including SS&C Private Equity Services and Citigroup. Additionally, she spent 16 years as a Citigroup VP — Accountant. This is her first CFO role.
Kevin Price | Provi
Provi, the largest online marketplace for the beverage alcohol industry, appointed Kevin Price as CFO. He most recently was chief financial officer at beverage company Guayaki Yerba Mate and fresh-food vending machine company Farmer’s Fridge. Before that, he was co-founder and CFO of Nordstrom’s apparel subscription service Trunk Club. He started his career at Deloitte before transitioning to American Capital, where he worked in private equity.
Garry Lowenthal | PetVivo
Veterinary biotech and biomedical device company PetVivo hired Garry Lowenthal as its new finance chief. Lowenthal has previously held CFO roles at moving and storage company Elate Moving, digital asset company Fision, data storage defense contractor Pranah Storage Technologies, and manufacturer Viper Motorcycle. He started his career at Deloitte Consulting.
Saul Gates | Absolute Software
Saul Gates is the new chief financial officer of security software provider Absolute Software. Before Absolute, Gates was CFO of digital accessibility platform Level Access, where he oversaw the company’s financial operations until its acquisition by KKR. He has previously held CFO roles at Telarix, a software provider to telecom companies, and INRIX, a location-based data and software-as-a-service analytics company. Earlier, he held senior roles at Coinstar, Microsoft, and PWC.
Ranjot Singh | Tillman Networks
Tillman Networks appointed Ranjot Singh as CFO of the digital and energy transition infrastructure services provider. Most recently, Singh was senior managing director at global investment and advisory firm Guggenheim Securities. He previously worked at Barclays Capital and started his investment banking career at Lehman Brothers. Throughout his career on Wall Street, he has executed more than $90 billion in M&A transactions.
Lisa Conner | Mainsail Lodging & Development
Tampa-based real estate management company Mainsail Lodging and Development has named Lisa Conner as its CFO, alongside others who are expanding its executive team. Per Conner’s LinkedIn profile, this is her first CFO position held. She previously worked as an advisory consultant for over 10 years, and prior to that, served as controller of Syniverse Technologies. She also accrued extensive experience at “Big Four” accounting firms KPMG and PwC.
Derek Tyus | Versiti
Versiti, a Milwaukee-based healthcare company, appointed Derek Tyus as its new CFO and Executive VP, effective March 18. Previously, Tyus accumulated a variety of leadership experiences in his career, having previously worked as chief investment officer at West Bend Mutual Insurance, as well as holding a director title while working at Northwest Mutual Wealth Management. Prior to his leadership positions, he was a senior tax accountant at Arthur Andersen.
Lori Klem | Indiana Furniture
Veteran finance executive Lori Klem has been named as Indiana Furniture’s new CFO. Previously, Klem had spent nearly a decade at MasterBrand Cabinets, where she held a variety of roles, including director of finance and plant controller. This is her first CFO role.
