Michael Fiddelke | Target
Target’s finance chief, Michael Fiddelke, will take over as the retailer’s chief operating officer on Feb. 4. Fiddelke has been chief financial officer since 2019 and will remain in the role until a successor is appointed. He joined Target as an intern in 2003 and has since held a variety of leadership positions across the organization, including senior vice president of operations and senior vice president of merchandising capabilities. Fiddelke replaces long-time executive John Mulligan, who announced his plans to retire in Oct. 2023.
Ben Almanzar | Coca-Cola HBC
Ben Almanzar is stepping down as CFO of Coca-Cola HBC, the bottling partner of The Coca-Cola Company, after three years in the role. Almanzar will leave the company in May for a new opportunity in North America. The company is searching for Almanzar’s replacement and is considering internal and external candidates. Almanzar previously worked at Mars for 11 years, his last position as vice president for financial planning, analytics, and financial strategy. Before that, he spent 10 years at Nestlé in various finance roles, including CFO for Nestlé Waters UK.
Olivier Leonetti | Eaton
Eaton appointed Olivier Leonetti as the intelligent power management company’s new finance chief. Leonetti joins the company from Johnson Controls, where he has been chief financial officer since 2020. Before that, he was chief financial officer of Zebra Technologies and Western Digital and held senior finance leadership roles at Amgen and Dell. Leonetti has been a member of Eaton’s board of directors since 2019, a role he will step down from. He succeeds Thomas B. Okray, who is leaving the company for personal reasons.
Marc Vandiepenbeeck | Johnson Controls
Succeeding Olivier Leonetti at Johnson Controls will be Marc Vandiepenbeeck. Vandiepenbeeck joined the company 18 years ago and has held roles of increasing responsibility across the company's finance and treasury teams. Before his most recent operations role as vice president and president of Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Latin America, he was chief financial officer for the building solutions North America business.
John Felton | Amazon Web Services
Amazon’s top logistics executive, John Felton, will take over as finance chief of its Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud computing unit. Felton has worked at Amazon for over 19 years, including the last 12 years within operations, most recently as senior vice president of worldwide operations. Previous roles at the company include vice president of finance for worldwide operations and director of investor relations. Felton replaces Richard Puccio, who plans to leave the company, according to reports.
Greg Lee | Arizona Cardinals
The NFL’s Arizona Cardinals have let go of their CFO, Greg Lee, as part of a front office shake-up. Just one day before the team was set to move their non-football operations to a brand-new state-of-the-art workspace, the team announced the firing of Lee and two other vice presidents. A third executive, senior vice president for corporate partnerships Steve Ryan, will leave on his own accord later this year after two decades with the team. Lee, who was with the Cardinals for nearly as long, joined the team as a senior director of finance in 2006 and was promoted to CFO in 2009.
Brian Evanko | Cigna Group
Brian Evanko, CFO of healthcare insurer Cigna Group, will assume the additional role of president and chief executive officer of Cigna Healthcare. Evanko joined Cigna in 1998 and has held several business and finance leadership roles, including president the U.S. Government business. The company also hired Ann Dennison as Cigna Group’s deputy chief financial officer. Previously, Dennison was CFO of Nasdaq, which she joined in 2015 as senior vice president, controller, and chief accounting officer. Before that, she was a managing director and head of financial reporting at Goldman Sachs.
Jutta Meier | IQE
IQE, a British semiconductor wafer maker, named Jutta Meier as finance chief, effective Jan. 22. Meier has held senior positions at global semiconductor companies for more than 25 years. She joins IQE from Intel, where she has been a senior finance director at Intel Foundry Services since 2021. Before that, Meier was vice president of finance at semiconductor manufacturer GlobalFoundries and held various positions at multinational semiconductor company Advanced Micro Devices.
Eric Bouchard | Axiom
Eric Bouchard was named CFO of Axiom, an on-demand corporate legal talent company. Bouchard joins the company from Nestlé Health Sciences, where he has been finance chief since 2019. He previously spent eight years as CFO of Atrium Innovations, a dietary and health supplement maker. Earlier in his career, he worked at business jet manufacturer Bombardier, his last position being vice president of finance, Americas.
