CFOs on the Move: Week Ending May 17

Vice president of finance Thomas McCarthy has been promoted to CFO at Cigna Corp., effective July 12. He takes over from Ralph Nicoletti, who is leaving the insurer.

IT-products distributor Intcomex Inc. has named Juan Riojas to the top finance spot, effective after the company files its Form 10-Q for the quarter ended March 31. He replaces interim CFO and secretary Jose Ortega, who will become chief accounting officer. Previously, Riojas was CFO of PepsiCo Foods Central America and Caribbean.

Brian Rice, vice chairman and finance chief at Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd., is turning over the CFO role to Jason Liberty, effective immediately. Rice will remain vice chairman until his retirement next year. Liberty, formerly senior vice president, strategy and finance, has been at the company since 2005.

WebMD Health Corp. has promoted Peter Anevski to head finance. He succeeds Anthony Vuolo, who will stay on at the firm as senior vice president. Anevski had been senior vice president, finance.

Carrie Teffner has been named to lead the finance function at PetSmart Inc., effective June 3. She joins the company from Weber-Stephen Products LLC, where she was also CFO.

Finance chief Michael Bornak has resigned from multiscreen video software company SeaChange International, effective May 31. Chief accounting officer Anthony Dias will become interim CFO until a permanent replacement for Bornak is found.
