Orbitz Worldwide has selected Mike Randolfi to lead the finance function, effective March 11. He comes to the online travel company from Delta Air Lines, where he is now controller.

Eye-health firm Bausch + Lomb has appointed Robert Bertolini president and CFO. Formerly, he headed finance at Schering-Plough.

Bob Halliday has been promoted to the top finance spot at Applied Materials Halliday was CFO of Varian Semiconductor Equipment Associates before it was acquired by Applied Materials, and most recently has been general manager of that company’s implant business unit with its Silicon Systems Group.

Lucinda Baier has been named to head finance at Navigant Consulting She takes over from Thomas Nardi, who is retiring effective March 18. Previously, Baier was CFO and chief administration officer at Central Parking Systems

Deltek has promoted Michael Krone to become its next CFO and treasurer. Krone had been corporate controller since he joined the project-management software provider in 2008.

Doug Bettinger has been appointed finance chief of Lam Research Corp., effective March 11. He replaces Ernie Maddock, who is leaving the company to become CFO of Riverbed Technology. Most recently, Bettinger was CFO of Avago Technologies.
