Jason Cagle has been promoted to the top finance spot at United Surgical Partners International, effective after the company files its 2012 annual report. He will take over from Mark Kopser, who was appointed CEO of the firm’s European business when it was spun off in April. Cagle is now general counsel and head of acquisitions.
Command Security Corp. has named N. Paul Brost to lead the finance function. He succeeds Barry Regenstein, who will stay on as president of the company until the end of its fiscal year on March 31. Brost is a former CFO and vice president, finance, of Unisys Federal Systems.
Jim McGinty has resigned as CFO of retailer Hot Topic Inc., effective March 29. Vice president of finance George Wehlitz will be interim CFO until a permanent replacement for McGinty is found.
Social and e-commerce software firm Bazaarvoice Inc. has named Jim Offerdahl to the top finance spot. He replaces Stephen Collins, who was named president and CEO last November. Previously, Offerdahl was CFO of Convio Inc., Tivoli Systems Inc., and Pervasive Software Inc.
Sylvia Cheung has been promoted to finance chief at Anika Therapeutics Inc., effective April 1. She will succeed Kevin Quinlan, who is leaving the company on March 31. Cheung started at the company in 2005 as controller, and is currently vice president for strategic processes.
Lam Research Corp. has said that CFO Ernie Maddock will leave the firm in mid-April. A search is under way for his replacement, and Maddock will stay on at the wafer fabrication services and equipment supplier until his successor takes over.
Clark Hanrattie has been promoted to principal and CFO at HEI Hotels & Resorts. Hanrattie, who joined the company in 2002, had been chief investment officer.
