As part of an organizational change, Hyatt Hotels Corp. has announced that finance chief Harmit Singh will leave that position on August 15 and will continue in his job as executive vice president through December 31, when he will leave the company. Gebhard Rainer, managing director, Europe/Africa/Middle East at Hyatt, will take over as CFO on August 15.
CFO and president of global business services Victoria Harker plans to leave power company The AES Corp. by August 10. She will step down from her posts on May 7 and help the firm as it searches for her successor. Controller Mary Wood will become interim CFO, effective May 8.
Thomas Pierno has been appointed to lead the finance function at Rosetta Stone Inc. He joins the technology-based language-learning provider from Vertis Communications, where he was also CFO.
Finance chief Bill Davis will leave Allscripts Healthcare Solutions Inc., effective May 18. Dave Morgan, senior vice president finance, will serve as interim CFO until a permanent replacement for Davis is found.

Jack McGinnis will add to his responsibilities as CFO of HSBC Bank USA when he also becomes CFO of HSBC North American Holdings Inc. on June 30, subject to regulatory approval. In his new post, McGinnis will take over from Edgar Ancona, who is retiring.
Learning Care Group has named Mark Bierley to lead the finance function, effective June 11. He joins the childcare and early education provider from The Pantry Inc., where he was also CFO; before that, he held several positions at Borders Inc., including chief operating and financial officer.

Electronic-instruments manufacturer AMETEK Inc. has promoted corporate comptroller Robert Mandos Jr. to be its next finance chief, effective July 1. He will succeed John Molinelli, who is retiring after 18 years as CFO and 43 years at the company.
CFO Rick Carucci has been promoted to president of restaurant firm Yum Brands Inc. In turn, Patrick Grismer, chief planning and control officer, has been promoted to replace Carucci.
