CFOs on the Move: Week Ending August 26

Finance chief Roy Templin plans to retire from Whirlpool Corp. in April of next year. Templin, who has been CFO since 2004, will be replaced by Larry Venturelli, now chief accounting officer, corporate controller, and CFO of Whirlpool International.


NRG Energy Inc. has named Kirkland Andrews to head finance, effective September 6. He succeeds Christian Schade, who is leaving the company. Previously, Andrews was managing director and co-head of power and utilities-Americas at Deutsche Bank Securities.


R. Jeffrey Williams has been promoted to CFO and treasurer at restaurant company O’Charley’s Inc. Williams has been interim CFO and treasurer since December, while at the same time serving as corporate controller and chief accounting officer.


Specialty insurance company RLI Corp. has named Thomas Brown to the top finance spot, effective September 1. He takes over from Joseph Dondanville, who is retiring from the company in November. Most recently, Brown was an audit engagement partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP.


Robert Bellack has been named finance chief of online-only electronics and computing retailer Newegg Inc. The founder and former CEO of, he is also a former CFO of LA Times Media Group.


CF Industries Holdings Inc. has chosen Dennis Kelleher to lead the finance function. He replaces Anthony Nocchiero, who retired last year. Previously, Kelleher was vice president, portfolio and strategy, for BP PLC’s upstream business.


Roger Cregg has been named senior vice president of finance and CFO of The ServiceMaster Co. He comes to the firm from PulteGroup Inc., where he also served as CFO.


Thomas Kroll has been promoted to the top finance spot at CTS Corp., effective September 1. He succeeds Donna Belusar, who has been named senior vice president human resources and information technology. Kroll joined the electronic components and sensors designer and manufacturer in 2000 and has been corporate controller since 2002.


Pharmaceutical firm Corcept Therapeutics Inc. has named Gary Robb as its new finance chief, effective September 1. Previously, he was senior vice president of operations, administration and finance at Fitness Anywhere Inc.
