Sears Holdings Corp. has appointed Robert Schriesheim to the top finance spot. He previously headed finance at Hewitt Associates.


Dorvin Lively has been appointed CFO and chief administrative officer at RadioShack Corp. Most recently, he was CFO of Ace Hardware Corp., a post he had held since 2008.

Atari has named Robert Mattes to lead the finance function. He is a former CFO of Return Path Inc. and co-president and CFO of Authentic Response Inc.


Japanese-restaurant chain Benihana Inc. has appointed David Flanery to head finance. He joins the company from Papa John’s International Inc., where he also served as CFO.


NetApp CFO Steve Gomo has announced that he will retire effective December 31 as part of a planned succession process. On January 1, he will be replaced at the network-attached storage vendor by Nicholas Noviello, senior vice president of finance and global controller.


Executive-search firm Heidrick & Struggles International Inc. has appointed Richard Pehlke to lead the finance function. Previously, he was CFO of Grubb & Ellis Co.


DCT Industrial Trust Inc. has announced that Stuart Brown has resigned as finance chief, effective September 9. Treasurer Matthew Murphy has been named interim CFO at the industrial real estate firm as of that date.


Stuart Brown has been named CFO at Red Robin Gourmet Burgers Inc. He currently heads finance at DCT Industrial Trust Inc. (see above).


Vestcom International Inc. has named Shannon Palmer to the top finance spot. He is a former CFO of Lincoln Holdings Enterprises Inc.


Finance chief William Davis has been promoted to chief operating officer at the Crosstex Energy companies (Crosstex Energy LP and Crosstex Energy Inc.). He will be succeeded by Michael Garberding, senior vice president of business development and finance.
