Goodwill Industries International has promoted Jeffrey McCaw to the top finance spot. He has been controller for more than six years.

Michael Devine III is retiring as head of finance at Coach Inc. A search is under way for a replacement for Devine, who is expected to remain at the company until August.

The Howard Hughes Corp. has named Andrew Richardson as its new finance chief, effective March 28. He is currently CFO and treasurer of NorthStar Realty Finance Corp., posts he has held since 2006.

David Flanery is planning to retire from pizza company Papa John’s International Inc. in May. Flanery, who has been at the company since 1994 and has been CFO since 2004, will be succeeded by Lance Tucker, chief of staff and senior vice president, strategic planning.

Arbitron Inc. has named Richard Surratt executive vice president, finance, and CFO. He takes over at the media and marketing research company from Sean Creamer, who was promoted to executive vice president, U.S. media services, last June. Surratt is a former president and chief executive officer of Voyager Learning Co.

Scott Krenz has decided to leave his post as finance chief at executive-search firm Heidrick & Struggles International Inc. in order to earn a PhD. A search is under way to replace Krenz, who has been at the company since 2008.

Industrial-biotechnology company Verenium Corp. has promoted chief accounting officer Jeffrey Black to the top finance spot. He succeeds James Levine, who has been promoted to president and chief executive officer. Both promotions take effect on March 31.

Screenvision has named Kevin Neary to head finance. He comes to the cinema advertising company from Ziff Davis Enterprise Inc., where he also served as CFO.

Curt Mayer has been named to lead the finance function at SkyWire Media Inc., a digital and mobile-marketing firm. Previously, he was corporate vice president of finance at Station Casinos Inc.
