CFOs on the Move: Week Ending January 7

Online travel company Orbitz Worldwide Inc. has named Russ Hammer to lead finance. He joins the firm from Crocs Inc., where he also served as CFO. Hammer takes over from Marsha Williams, who announced last June that she planned to retire.

Dirk Eller has been promoted to CFO of Clear Channel International; previously, he was senior vice president, corporate development and strategic planning, at Clear Channel Communications Inc. A search for his successor is under way.

Frank Forward is retiring as head of finance at BJ’s Wholesale Club Inc., effective January 29. He has been at the company since it was founded in 1984 and has been CFO since 1997. He will be replaced by Robert Eddy, director of finance.

Electronics For Imaging Inc. has named Vincent Pilette as its new finance chief. Formerly, he worked at Hewlett-Packard Co. for 14 years, most recently as vice president of finance for its enterprise server, storage, and networking business. Gordon Heneweer, who has been interim CFO at the digital-printing company since May, will return to his role as vice president of finance.

IT firm INX Inc. has appointed Philip Rydzewski to lead the finance function. Most recently a consultant, he is a former CFO of HMS Holdings Corp.

LaSalle Hotel Properties has named Bruce Riggins CFO, effective January 24. He now heads finance at Interstate Hotels & Resorts.

Caroline Cronin has been promoted to the top finance spot at software company Jacada Ltd. Previously vice president of finance, Cronin replaces Robert Aldworth, who has resigned.

AMN Healthcare Services Inc. has promoted Brian Scott to the posts of chief financial officer and chief accounting officer. He takes over from Bary Bailey, who is leaving the company but will remain as an adviser through next month. Scott has been at the health-care-staffing company since 2003, most recently as senior vice president of operations finance and business development.

Rick Neely has resigned as CFO of semiconductor manufacturer Monolithic Power Systems Inc. He will be succeeded by Meera Rao, who joined the company in 2009 as corporate controller and vice president finance.

Social shopping site LivingSocial has named John Bax to head finance. He joins the firm from RecycleBank, where he also was finance chief.
