Bookseller Borders Group Inc. has named Scott Henry to the top finance spot. Previously, he was president of consultancy S.D. Henry Strategic Services LLC.

Tod Spornhauer will resign as CFO of restaurant owner and operator Bob Evans Farms Inc. on January 3. Spornhauer, who joined the company in 1991, has headed finance since September 2009. Chief risk and compliance officer Richard Green will take over on an interim basis after January 3 until a permanent replacement for Spornhauer is found.

Torvec Inc. has named Robert Fishback to lead the finance function. Fishback has been a financial consultant to the company since July; before that he was CFO, treasurer, and vice president, finance, at Ultralife Corp. from 1999 until 2009.

Mark Monaco will be the new finance chief at iPayment Inc., a debit-and-credit-card-based payment-processing services provider. He replaces CFO and treasurer Clay Whitson, who is leaving the company. Formerly, Monaco was head of principal investments at Brooklyn NY Holdings LLC.

Christopher Menard has been named to the top finance spot at cloud-based online video platform Brightcove Inc. Most recently, he was CFO of Phase Forward.

Oil and natural-gas firm Penn Virginia Corp. has announced that head of finance Frank Pici has resigned. President and CEO A. James Dearlove will take on interim CFO duties while a search is under way for Pici’s successor.

WANdisco Inc. has named John Finegan as its new finance chief. He joins the infrastructure-software provider from Shoretel, where he also served as CFO.
