Charles Noski has been selected as the new finance chief for Bank of America Corp., effective May 11. He was formerly CFO of Northrop Grumman Corp.; before that, he was vice chairman of the board and headed finance at AT&T Corp.
CFO Becky Shulman is leaving H&R Block Inc. at the end of the month. Corporate controller Jeff Brown will become interim CFO while a search for Shulman’s successor is under way.
The board of directors at Bristol-Myers Squibb Co. has elected Charles Bancroft to lead the finance function. Bancroft, who joined the company in 1984, has been acting CFO since the beginning of the year.
Douglas Coltharp has been named CFO of health-care-service provider HealthSouth Corp., effective May 6. Most recently, he was a partner at Arlington Investment Partners LLC and Arlington Capital Advisors.
Richard Ubinger has resigned from Universal Stainless & Alloy Products Inc., where he serves as CFO, treasurer, and vice president of finance. His resignation takes effect on April 30; controller Ronald Hauck will take on the role of interim principal financial officer until a replacement for Ubinger is found.
P. Kelly Tompkins, CFO of holding company RPM International Inc., is resigning from the company, effective April 30. He will be replaced by Robert Matejka, who served as finance chief at RPM from 2001 through 2007, and who retired from the firm in 2008.
Online-curriculum provider K12 Inc. has appointed Harry Hawks to head finance, effective early next month. He joins the company from Hearst Television Inc., where he also served as CFO.
Tran Nguyen has been named to lead the finance function at Somaxon Pharmaceuticals Inc. He is a former CFO of Metabasis Therapeutics Inc.
Dental-laboratory network Dental Technologies Inc. has named Jeffrey Zellmer to the top finance spot. Previously, he was vice president of finance at Lam Research Corp.
