Anthony Vuolo, COO of health-information provider WebMD Health Corp., has added the title of CFO. Vuolo, who previously headed finance from 2005 until taking over the top operations post in 2007, replaces Mark Funston, who is leaving the company.
Pharmacy company CVS Caremark has promoted David Denton to lead finance, effective January 1. He takes over from David Rickard, who is retiring at the end of the year. Now controller and chief accounting officer, Denton joined the firm in 1999.
The Greater Boston Food Bank has named David Noymer to the top finance spot. He comes to the organization from Accounting Management Solutions, where he also served as CFO.
William Anderson (“Andy”) Bishop is the new CFO and chief accounting officer at Hallador Petroleum Co. Previously head of finance and a board member of the company from 1990 to 1993, since then Bishop has been CFO and part owner of SEC Institute Inc.
Clean-technology company Codexis Inc. has appointed Robert Lawson to head finance. Previously, he was vice president of the financial-consumer group at Intuit Inc.
Deluxe Corp. has promoted Terry Peterson to CFO, replacing Richard Greene, who has resigned from the firm. Peterson joined Deluxe as director of internal audit in 2004, became chief accounting officer in 2005, and added the title of vice president of investor relations in 2006. He was also interim CFO from May to September 2006.
Erika Turner is the new CFO and treasurer of manufacturer Lydall Inc. She succeeds Thomas Smith, who resigned from the positions effective November 3. Turner comes to the company from Superior Industries International Inc., where she held the top finance spot.
Automated-teller machine producer Diebold Inc. has appointed Bradley Richardson to lead the finance function, effective November 23. Formerly, he was CFO of Modine Manufacturing Co.
Watson Pharmaceuticals Inc. has named R. Todd Joyce CFO, replacing Mark Durand. Joyce, who joined the company in 1997 as corporate controller, added the title of treasurer in 2001. He has been acting principal financial officer since July, when Durand took a leave of absence for health reasons.
Cymer Inc., which supplies light sources to chipmakers, has named Paul Bowman CFO and secretary. Bowman, who came to the company in May 2008 as vice president of investor relations, has been interim CFO since December.
